Music was blaring, the wine was flowing and the feeling was electric. The party had well and truly begun.

Elton was feeling almost euphoric. Everything was perfect. All his friends were with him, they had not a care in the world and they'd made him the happiest he thought he'd ever been.

"This party is amazing!" Rod exclaimed, pouring another drink. "I'm totally loving it!"

Elton took the glass away. "Rod darling, I think that's enough for now."

"Oh no it isn't!"

"Oh yes it is." He insisted. "You can have more later."

"But Elton!"

"But nothing!" Elton laughed. "Come on, let's dance!"

He took Rod's hand and dragged him into the living room, where everyone was dancing. You And I was currently playing and Freddie, being Freddie, was singing along word for word.

"You enjoying yourself there, Fred?" He asked.

"Absolutely!"

David and Mick meanwhile were very giggly as they danced to the song. They spun each other around, spilling a little bit of whatever drink Elton had concocted for them.

"Oh stop it, you!" David flirted.

"No I won't stop it!" Mick said. "You know, you look amazing under this light. Oh wait, there is no light."

"You charmer!"

John was watching with Paul - he put his finger to his tongue and pretended to gag, making everyone laugh. All four Beatles were stood by the food, not real bothering to dance. Except for Ringo, that is; he was throwing some groovy shapes as he snacked on the remaining crumbs on his chocolate cake plate.

"Come on, Beatles!" Elton exclaimed. "Loosen up a little and get on this dancefloor!"

"I'm not really a dancer." John said. "I'll pass."

Paul chuckled. "I'm okay for now, maybe after another glass of wine."

"You know what, fuck it." George said. "Come on Ringo, let's dance!"

The eldest Beatle and the youngest Beatle ran from their spot in the corner of the room and joined their friends where all the action was.

The song had long since changed and now Crocodile Rock was playing. It'd only just started, so Elton started singing all the words as he pulled Rod into an interpretive dance of sorts.

"I remember when rock was young, me and susie had so much fun!" They sung.

"Holding hands and skimming stones, had an old gold Chevy and a place of my own!" Freddie joined in.

George and Ringo warbled the words, though they came out a little wrong. They jumped and jived as their friend sung his heart out, encouraging everyone to join in.

"One, two, three, four!" Elton shouted. "La, la, la, la, la, la!"

There wasn't a single soul who didn't join in then. The singer started spinning Rod around, faster and faster, making the room spin with them.

"Elton, stop it!" Rod laughed. "Stop it, stop it please!"

"Nope, not until the la parts are over!"

When they finally were, Elton suddenly let go of Rod, nearly making him fall over.

"Oh Elton, you are a hoot!" Rod exclaimed before stumbling out of the room.

"He's right!" George laughed. "That was so much fun!"
