My first day at school, April 21st 2013, my parents dropped me at my new school, day-cum-boarding school.
"Darling, be strong don't get scared,okay? We have to go now sweety be careful. Be a good girl, enjoy your new school. bye." My mother gave her last good-bye as she stepped back into the car.
I waved good-bye and walked towards the main entrance. I was already late so the security stopped me to asked for my details. Two other students were late too. After the security noted down their names and class, he asked me if I was new as he didn't recognize me. "Yes,I am a new student. If possible, could you please take me to my classroom.I do not know where it is." I asked .
He took his intercom and asked the teacher in-charge for students' helpline. I could hear the teacher speaking to the security. In less than 45 seconds, I could see a teacher walking towards me. "Hi, I am Miss Samantha. Are you Amy?" She asked. "Yes, I am" I replied.
As she took me to my class, she asked me how my previous school was. Once we reached, I read the heading printed on the door,"6th GRADE". Miss Samantha and I walked into the classroom . Miss Samantha talked to the teacher who was conducting a lesson. She left the classroom and the other teacher in the classroom started talking,"OK class,we have new student today.Her name is Amy . Amy,you can take the seat beside Steve on thethird row second bench."
