Chapter 5 : The secret

The next day, I woke up finding out that something was different. The room had a weird odor. That's when I remembered what Zoey and Belle had planned last night.

I took out my tooth brush and tooth paste and made my way to the toilet. I realized that the itch powder was left near the sink."They must have forgotten to hide it back ",I told myself. I turned on the tap. I didn't work. "daa.." I stopped . I forgot that I wasn't in my house anymore. I was about to call for help from my dad when I'm not even a mile close to them.

I opened the cabinet below the sink. there were different pipes. and an extra roll of toilet paper roll, next to it. it was just three seconds till I noticed a leak from one of the pipes.

"So , we have a plumber." said Belle,"Oh,I'm not trying to stop you ,go on." It was then I remembered that I didn't close the door as I was only going to brush my teeth.

Zoey snatched the bottle of itch powder next to the sink, thinking I didn't notice. One second passed, two seconds passed, three seconds passed."What?What do you want from me?" I exclaimed as I slowly got up.

"Look at you, trying to hide it" Belle said stroking my hair. I pushed her hand off.

"We know you have it. Give it! Now!" Zoey demanded. "Give what?" I asked back. I tried to move out of the toilet but Zoey pushed me back. "Belle, bring it" Belle went to bring something as Zoey so-called tried to deal with me.

Belle brought out an article printed-out in black and white,crumpled and was called the "proof".

before I could read or even take a look at the wordings, Zoey crumpled the paper into a paper ball and threw it at me. she left the toilet, I took the paper ball and opened it.

"Read!" Shouted Belle pouncing a stare-like look at me. I hurried, making the paper clear enough to read it."Out! Loud!" She demanded. I read it out loud;

Randy Derfson and his coleaques, Journalists from Brazil, Discovered a new variety of diamonds, gems and other precious stones.According to Randy, This discovery leads to a life of a millionaire. He states the price of each gem to be around 62.7k U.S. Dollars or more! Miners have been digging for these precious stones that instant this news had reached them ,but none of the gems given were not even close at all.The reason for its preciousness was that there was a belief that these gems can bring non-living things such as furniture or even the dead back to life, but only once. These........

I stopped reading. I stood up,"Why do you even want me to read this ???" 

"Uh, uh-um... You,... don't act like you ...um... don't know" Belle said slowly drifting away to the other side of the room towards Zoey.

She went closer to Zoey. I peered over the door ," I don't think she knows that she has it..."

They have been threatening me but they were dumb enough to think that I have it. "Have what?" I thought," The gems, it has to be the gems."
