My mind went blank, only this time I didn't faint. I ran back ,up the stairs and tried to hide myself from them. They walked by. They didn't notice me, thank goodness!
"Amy?Shouldn't you be in class?" Miss Betty questioned me
"Uh..um.... yes ma'am but unfortunately I wasn't feeling quite well," I replied hazily. "Oh, what seems to be the matter?" Miss Betty asked back. "I... I, um, have a splitting headache,Ma'm " I said hoping that she would let me go.
"I will send Steve to pass you the home works at the end of the day, would that be fine?" Miss Betty didn't expect an answer but looked keen for the answer. "Yes, Ma'm" I Said 'escaping' that day.I walked away, hopefully no one else found out. I didn't want anyone to ask about me not feeling well because if I do, I might really get sick by turning guilty. That five letter feeling,GUILT, which could turn my world upside down hurting my tummy real bad. I would rather eat raw meat!!!!
But for now I am glad nothing that bad has happened.I mean, What's the worst thing that could happen?
