The first thing in my mind was to hide the gems.
Isn't that obvious??. I'm sure they're looking for it.
Just then the door creaked open,"Huh?" I got up. Janna came in slowly. It was kind of a sign of relief as for split second I thought it was Zoey.
Janna went into the bathroom to refresh herself and I was sitting on the bed looking at teddy's eyes. When she was done, she walked straight to her bag and pulled out her science text book and another note book.
"Hey, um Janna?" I called," Can I talk to you for a second?"
She stared blankly at me back again. I walked towards her."Um... Did you hear Zoey and Belle talking about some kind of Gem?"
She slowly shook her head."Okay," I said slightly disappointed.
"You don't mind if I sit here, don't you?" I asked. "Of course not" Janna said in a slightly confused voice.
I sat beside her on the bed.
I watched her do her science homework even though it's not 'study time yet'
She was in 7th grade so it was kind of hard for me to understand the questions.
Someone knocked on the door. I guessed that it wouldn't have been Belle or Zoey ,cuz they don't usually knock, they would just barge in.
