"Thanks for coming with me, Xander."

"Any time, David."

The sun had just set low enough below the horizon. Xander and David were sat on the grass, admiring the night sky. The two of them were supposed to be driving home, but David wanted to stop and look at the nice view.

"It's lovely, isn't it?"

David asked.

"Y-yeah. It is."

Xander smiled at him and looked back at the sky. David pointed at something.

"Look at that star up there. It looks beautiful."

"Wow, it does. It looks amazing."

Xander admired luminous star beaming down on them. He laid down on the ground with his hands behind his head. They stayed silent for a few minutes, doing nothing but staring at the sky and enjoying each other's presence.

"Ah, right. Sorry for being so quiet. I just enjoy looking at the stars. If it gets too awkward, we can just go."

David said. Xander got back up and looked at him.

"Oh, no, don't worry about it at all. I enjoy watching them too. Nothing here is awkward."

David grew a warm smile and chuckled. He then let out a yawn.

"Oh, are you feeling tired David? We can go if you feel like it."

"It's fine. Don't worry about me."

Xander stared at him and smiled as he turned back to look at the comforting, night sky. David did too. After a while of Xander admiring something, he felt something gently touch his shoulder and hand.

"David?"

He once again turned to him. He noticed the motivation speaker sound asleep, resting on his shoulder. His hands were also on top of Xander's hands. Xander's cheeks grew bright pink. He hesitated and didn't know what to do. Should he wake David up? Should he leave him to rest? After a while of thinking, he just smiled and stared at him for a bit. He then realised what a fool he was making and quickly snapped out of it. He sighed in relief.

"Goodnight, David. We're going home."
