He works at the same place you do. You guys talk a lot and your feelings for him grow. He was always so sweet to you, helping out with the boxes or telling you how to work the cash machine. You couldn't help but grow feelings for him. Although he was very close to Mary-chan, you just wanted him to pick you.

"[Y/N]!" You hear him yell out. He runs up to you with a cute smile.

"Hey Seto. Do you need something?" He nods.

"Today is Mary's birthday! I was hoping you could help me set up the party!" Oh... You forgot it's her birthday. No wonder he was so happy today.

"S-sure!" You try to sound upbeat. "Where is it going to be held?"

He grabs your hand, pulling you toward the forest. "I'll show you!"

After stumbling a bit, Seto holding you up, and a trip to a stream, you two finally reach the clearing with a long picnic table and flowers surrounding the clearing.

"It's really pretty Seto." You say in envy. "What are we doing for the decorations?

"I have some streamers, and we can set up a few balloons. Oh! [Y/N] can you create flower crowns for everyone? Only the Dan are coming so make eight plus us two." He tells you and you begin to weave crowns with the surrounding flowers.

The sun was starting to set by the time you both finished. "Alright we need to set up the lanterns then we are set!" He looks at his phone. "Hurry! They should be arriving soon!" He exclaims and you run off to hang the lanterns on the trees and on posts by the table.

"Done!" You say, wiping the sweat off your forehead. You hear rustling as the Dan stumbles into the clearing.

"Seto, why did you choose out here of all places?" Kido sighs as she picks leafs out of her ponytail.

"I can help, leader." Kano smiles devilish as his hands come toward her hair. She elbows his gut and he falls to the ground.

"Oba-san! Hurry up!" Hibiya sighs.

"I told you I'm not that old, you punk!" You hear Momo huff.

"Honestly, can someone give me a coke?" Shintaro pants, tired from the walk.

"Master! Coke is bad for you! You're going to get fatter~!" Ene exclaims from Shintaro's phone.

"Seto! This is for me?" Mary gasps as she comes through the group, moving around Kido and Kano. The rest of the members come behind her.

"It is! And [Y/N] helped too!" Mary's hair curls in delight. She walks over to the table and puts on her flower crown.

"I'm so happy! Thank you!" Mary squeals.

"I brought the cake!" Momo says as she sets the white cake with pink flowers on the table. Konoha follows behind her and puts the three boxes of pizza on there as well.

"Um Konoha, where's the other box of pizza? I ordered four." Seto asks the albino.

"I ate it. I was hungry." He simply states and Seto sweat drops.

"Well that's okay. Let's eat everyone!" Seto tells everyone with a smile.

"Thank you for the food!" You all say in unison before eating. Everyone else was rowdy and loud but you stayed silent. You were happy that you got to spend time with Seto but it was all for Mary's sake. For her happiness. Have you done something wrong? Are you not attractive enough? You clench your teeth to stop the tears from coming. You suddenly stand up, shocking everyone.

"I-I'm going to go wash my hands in the stream." You stumble to say and rush off before anyone could come with you or ask questions.

You were sitting by the water, your feet in it, when Seto comes out of the bushes, looking slightly panicked.

"There you are! I was worried you got lost!" He tells you as he sighs in relief. He sits next to you with a smile.

"Are you okay? You left in quite a rush." He asks.

"Yeah. I'm okay." No I'm not. I love you but you don't notice me. (notice me senpai.)

His head snaps to look at you. "Y-you what?" Your face turns a bright red as you remember that he could read minds.

"I'm not saying it!" You exclaim, hiding your face with your hands. "I didn't want you to hear that!" Yes I did. "Gah! Stop brain!" You moan and Seto starts laughing.

"You're so cute [Y/N]! I'm sorry I don't pay a lot of attention to you. I thought you were annoyed by me." He tells you shyly. You gawk at him then realize that you may have been a little cold towards him. He talked about Mary a lot which got on your nerves so you just naturally snapped at him.

"I don't think you're annoying... I just get... jealous." Your voice starts to get really quiet.

"Jealous? Of me and Mary?" You nod. He smiles again. "But [Y/N] I love you. Mary and I are just friends. We were each other's first friends so we have a deep relationship but I couldn't love anyone but you [Y/N]."

Your eyes were overflowing with tears. "Really Seto?"

"Really." He tells you and pushes your hair behind your ear before kissing your forehead sweetly. "Don't forget that okay?" You nod and hug him tight. His arms wrap around you, leaving you safe in his warm arms.
