Gray x Reader

[Fairy Tail]

You were walking behind the bare chested man as you pass through different cities. His name was Gray Fullbuster, part of the strongest guilds, Fairy Tail. You met him yesterday after being caught by a snowy ape and he offered you a place in the guild. You couldn't believe that someone like you could be invited into Fairy Tail. Especially by Gray, you're idol.

Ever since you were little, you worshiped how strong the young boy was. You would always hide behind barrels and trees, watching him train against the pink haired boy. You always thought he was the best out of the two. Then you moved. You still kept track of him by Weekly Sorcerer but it wasn't the same. It must be some kind of fate that you two met miles away.

"Oi, [F/N] was it? You okay back there?" Gray asks you and you nod, making sure not to show any weakness in front of him. You don't want him to think you're some person who always needs protection.

"Are we almost to Magnolia?" You ask.

"About ten minutes. We can take a rest if you need it."

"I'm fine Gray. No worries." He nods then is silent. He doesn't really talk much it seems. Maybe it's because I'm around. He was always really talkative with the pink haired boy.

"I think I've seen you before." You hear him mutter. You jog up next to him.

"What did you say?" You thought you knew what he said but you just wanted to make sure.

"I said I think I've seen you before. Have you lived in Magnolia before?"

"Actually, I have. It was years ago though." You give a little laugh and his eyes widen.

"I knew it. I knew it!" He exclaims then hugs you tight. "You're [Y/N]! I used to see you watching me train and I've always wanted to talk to you!" You blush a deep red.

"H-How do you know my name?" You stutter, taken back by the sudden change.

"I uh I used to watch you as well." You seem him blush and he looks away with a frown. He lets you go, scratching his head. "Well it's nice to see you again, even though we've been together for about a day now."

"Why didn't you ask sooner?" You ask as you begin to walk again. the kingdom in sight now.

"I wasn't as interested I guess." You could tell he was lying though. He had the same pouty frown on his face, similar to the one he made whenever he was lying. You conceal a laugh as you both pass through the city gates.

"This is [Y/N]?! I never thought I would get to meet you!" The pink haired boy grins, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and earning a glare from Gray. "He used to go on and o-" The boy was cut off by an ice fist smashing into his stomach.

"Guh! You're in for it Ice Boy! I'm all fired up!" The boy grins and starts running at Gray when a redhead grabs their heads, smashing them together.

"I apologize for these idiots. I'm Erza, and this pink haired boy is Natsu. It's very nice to meet you." Erza smiles at you.

"I would like to see the girl now." The headmaster calls from the bar. Gray walks you over to the extremely short man. He looks you over quickly before nodding. "You are qualified. Where would you like your emblem?" You point to the spot and he uses magic to make the seal. "We have a new member of Fairy Tail!" Everyone cheers, making you blush from all of the attention. Gray smiles down at you.

Each person in the guild started coming up to you, introducing themselves. They seemed so happy that you were a member but the happiest was Gray, even if he wouldn't show it.

It's been five weeks since you joined Fairy Tail. A blue haired girl always seemed to be attached to him so you never get the chance to speak to him. But finally, when you were buying groceries at a night stand, he walked up to you with a timid grin.

"Hey [Y/N]." He says. You were so lucky to see this soft side of him. "Can I help you with these groceries?" He asks and you hand some of the bags over with a thankful smile.

"I haven't seen you around lately. It always seem as though you're busy with requests." You laugh sadly, a void in your heart that you haven't felt since leaving Magnolia the first time.

You reach your house and you open the door for the two of you. Gray goes to the kitchen to put the bags in the table. You just leave them by the door, take off your shoes, then plop down on the couch. Gray comes over, giving you a glass of water before sitting down on the coffee table in front of you.

"Thanks. It's surprising you remember my house since its's been weeks from your last time here." You say softly, taking a sip of the water. He leans forward with an intensity in his eyes. You started to become nervous.

"[Y/N]?" He says in a deep voice.

"Hm?" You look at him from under your eyelashes. He starts leaning closer until you could feel his cool breathe on your lips. You breathe slowly as his lips touch yours ever so softly.

"I think I'm in love with you." He confesses before pressing his lips hard against yours.

You gasp in surprise before wrapping your arms his neck tightly. You could feel the room turning colder by the second as Gray gets more passionate. You separate from him to see the room frozen solid. You let out a laugh, pressing your forehead against his.

"I've waited for so long Gray." You whisper before kissing him again.

Okay, that was really crappy. I rushed to make this chapter since I forgot to write it in advance. I'm really sorry! //bows lowly// Please forgive this horrible writing.
