It had been a two day journey before Yang made it to the institute of war, and he was admitted into the building. Upon entering, he was surprised by how many champions there were from different walks of life.
"Woah, that's a lot of people..." Yang thought shyly as he had went to his respective quarter that was assigned to him.
"Nice to see someone familiar here..." A familiar voice said in a thoughtful tone.
"Your highness, Prince Jarvan IV!" Yang announced as he immediately got on his knees and did a bow of respect.
"Damn it Yang, not here. There's no need for formalities, friend." Prince Jarvan told his friend who then stood up.
"How was the defense of Demacia yesterday? I was worried, but father ordered me to stay here as everything would be fine."
"It was all fine, your highness. Uncle Xin and I held off the Noxian invaders although we did suffer a decent amount of casualties..."
"Don't worry Yang. I'm sure you tried the best that you could. For now though, get familiar with the layout of the institute. I'll be heading towards the dining hall and meeting up with everyone else. You should do the same."
"Yes, your highness." Yang replied and Prince Jarvan frowned at the last response but brushed it off.
Yang had finished setting his gear and personal belongings off in his room before he started looking around the institute. As he looked around, he was in awe of everything still before he noticed a minor detail...
"I am a bit lost now..." Yang thought to himself as he looked around.
"Hi there. Are you lost?" A beautiful Ionian woman asked Yang nicely and he nodded.
"Hi, um... yes... uh, can I ask where the dining hall is? I've searched the whole institute or so I thought, and can't seem to find it." Yang asked and the woman giggled lightly.
"Yes, of course. Please follow me. In fact, I had planned on meeting up with a few friends of mine as well." The woman told Yang nicely.
As they were on their way, it struck Yang that he had yet to know her name. "Um... May I ask what your name is, miss?" Yang asked and she looked at him before smiling.
"No need for the miss part, and I am Irelia."
As Irelia revealed her name, Yang stood in awe as he had heard of her tales and exploits. Although they were around the same age, Yang found her quite impressive and formidable.
"And what is your name?" Irelia asked Yang back out of curiosity.
