After a couple of days, King Jarvan III's health was stabilizing and not as bad as he was sleeping peacefully now. Due to Prince Jarvan being satisfied, all the Demacian champions had returned to the institute. As soon as Yang was going to set his possessions down, he was called on by his summoner friend Steve who escorted him to the Grand Council.

"Have you been well, Steve?"

"I've been fine, Yang. Think we can get some practice in later? I feel as though I could've used you better" Steve noted with a shrug.

"We shall see, Steve. Until then, let us see what I have been called on for" Yang spoke in a content tone. As they made it, Yang was ordered to take the stand of the room while Steve watched from a distance.

"Yang Fen. We have been recently notified of your new ranking in Demacia. We are sorry to hear this."

"It is okay, grand summoner Khan. I have made peace with it." Yang spoke with a smile.

"Yang Fen... We were also told that you are to no longer be acknowledged as a champion of Demacia. In fact, you are not allowed to be a champion again." Grand summoner Khan spoke in a thoughtful manner and Yang was somewhat horrified.

"Grand summoner Khan, this can't be right. Yang Fen of all people? What has he done?" Steve asked in a shocked manner.

"Prince Jarvan did not approve of Yang Fen's unusual relationship with a certain champion. In fact, Just about all of Demacia went to sign on his petition as well in order to remove Yang Fen." Khan spoke as he telekinetically delivered Yang a copy of the said document, and he was as shocked as he was defeated.

"Why?" Yang asked sadly to no one in particular. He did not care for his title or role of being a champion, but to see so many names and people hate him and begrudge him hurt his naive heart.

"I've only helped people... why..." Yang wondered to himself as he was still shocked.

"We are sorry Yang, but we have to announce it to the rest of the league." Khan spoke with sadness and Yang shook his head.

"Grand summoner, can there be an exception? This isn't right..." Steve noted worriedly while the grand summoner frowned

"I am sorry, but this is beyond our jurisdiction. Yang Fen is a champion that was appointed by Demacia. It is up to his higher ups whether or not he will stay a champion. Not us." Khan reasonably explained, as Steve was outraged at the mistreated former champion.

"It is okay, grand summoner." Yang replied kindly before he left the room with his head down.

"Yang..." Steve frowned as he saw his friend that was down on his luck

"Spread the word, Steve." Khan spoke and the other grand summoners nodded in unison. Word had spread fast around the institute that Yang would no longer be a champion, and this was met with much outrage. Many champions held respect for him and they enjoyed his calm, serene, and kind aura. Ashe and Irelia tried to console him, but he ignored them as he grabbed his possessions to leave. Yang had a blank face and expression which hurt many champions to see as they were always used to his smile and kind demeanor.
