In the large room decorated with various paintings of important figures sat Amatheon, the large wooden round table covered with a royal red sheet was surrounded by others who chat among themselves waiting for Amatheon to speak.
With a clear of his throat the room began to quiet down. The meeting had just begun.

Amatheon rose from his large seat and wandered to a shrine of sorts, there contained a photo of you and some of your treasured belongings. He grabbed the small framed portrait of your smiling face and turned to the others "Do you think this is a game?" He asked, staring at the photo of you, his bitter tone made the room feel all the more quieter. Turning a heel he walked back to his large seat "It's been 5 years since Lilith's death and now we are at god's end with 2 villages. Our kingdom is at stake and you all have been doing NOTHING to help." He hissed, slamming the photo of you down on the table.
The others just stared at him unamused with his anger until Zohar spoke up "What can we do when we no longer have anyone to trade with. We are low on armor and our weapons are at their wits end, had you accepted the trade with the village from the south we would have magic to defend ourselves." He argued, Amatheon rolled his eyes "I accept the trade from the village from the east west, we have our newly built weapons and armors they were delivered two days ago." Zohars' eyes glazed over at him.
"That shipment was supposed to arrive two weeks ago in advance. We have just received word from the village that it was delayed due to strong waves, but since we now have 2 villages that wish to wage war with us WE ARE MERELY FISH LEFT OUT TO DRY. My warriors will fight but once we drop you're on your own, Amatheon. " He scowled, Amatheon simply stared at him unamused before directing his attention towards a woman.
Her skin was tan and stained with dark colored freckles. Her warm brown almond shaped eyes, brunette hair was tied in a military styled bun showing a state of discipline and order. The clean white suit she wore stood out as the badges pinned on her chest made a statement as her black sleek business shoes were clean. The leather brown cape she wore draped over her shoulders was stained with markings, seeming to come from blades that merely grazed her.

Her gaze met his "Raith. My paladin. Speak." He ordered. Raith blinked at him, her perfect posture never faulting. "My lord, with all due respect there is nothing to say to you." She deadpanned, Amatheons' jaw almost dropped as Raith struggled to feign her grin "My sailors have patrolled our waters for any of the villages seeking to attack us early and we are lucky to have found nothing. The most we can do is to stand watch until General Zohar gives his command." She said, it was true there was nothing to say as there was no way to avoid this coming war.
Amatheon slowly nodded his head as he chewed the inside of his bottom lip, the rage he had been holding down was beginning to boil up but he pushed it back down. Grabbing the framed portrait of you he stared at it "Lilith Serendipity. Serendipity means luck, chance, and new discoveries." He explained, licking his lips to moisten them he strained a forced smile "She was my best friend. My partner in crime. I will not let her kingdom fall in vain. You are ALL ordered to get your departments in check, we start the war three days from now. Get out of my sight." He commanded.
