** Friday June 30th, 2017 - 12 weeks and five days old **

"Let's give this to daddy baby girl. It's his first father's day" I coo my little girl. Holding both her and the present at the same time is challenging, but I've gotten used to carrying things and her at the same time. At first it was nerve-wracking because I was certain I was going to seriously hurt her or something, but it's actually working out fine. I certainly learn new things every day during motherhood so far.
Joe is in the living room after just getting our guest rooms ready. His parents and brother are landing any time now here in New York. His oldest brother, tom, couldn't make it because he had to work, but Patrick is here. His parents are staying for a few days, but Patrick Is spending two weeks with us since he doesn't have school. It's going to be fun spending some time with him, because he is such a bright presence in any room he walks into.
"Joe, Estelle has something for you" I say, and he turns his attention to us.
"Look at my little princess all dressed in a pink dress, you're the cutest little girl with the best mommy ever" he coos her and kiss both our cheeks.
I hand him the packet and he open it. It's a pendant I had made of her infant footprint. You can use it as a keychain because her foot was so tiny, and Joe tends to lose his keys. But it can also just be a thing he can have in his backpack and look at if he misses her.
"Thank you, her little feet are so adorable. And they have grown so fast" he puts it beside her feet now and you can tell she has gotten bigger during the first 12 weeks of her life. "She is the best baby in the whole world" Joe puts his gift down and take Estelle for me to get some daddy cuddles.
She is such a good baby, hardly cries unless she wants something and doesn't really fuss much at the moment. We have gotten lucky these last couple of weeks compared to what Blake told me they went through the first few months with both James and Inez.

Joe heads to the door and let his family into our home. They haven't been here in a long while, so they are getting a new view of our home. The last time they were here it was so new, but now there are tell signs that there are people living here. Especially with the pictures on the walls, and little accents here and there giving it a homey feeling. The interior designer I hired did an amazing job, but she can't really design the type of feeling we wanted in our home, only time will give it that unique flair.
"Where is my grand baby" I hear Liz greet Joe with. "Nice to see you too mum, by all means, it's not like your son is here too" I don't need to see him to hear the teasing in his voice. "Oh shush Joseph, I've seen you your whole life. But your little girl is new."
"We are in the living room" I call through the house and get my bra back in place after feeding her. Its good timing to have them here because she is freshly feed and ready for cuddles before its time for a nap. Knowing her pattern she is bound to fall asleep while they are meeting her, but it's fine.
Our three guests come into the living room and greet me before turning their attention to the girl that just burped on my shoulder. "Oh my god, she is even more beautiful in person. You did such a good job Taylor" his mom says, and I head over to hand her Estelle for the first time.
My hormones are still all over the place so I can help the tears when I see Estelle tucked into her grandmothers' arms for the first time. "Oh love" Joe chuckles and bring me into his arms. "Sorry, I'm just an emotional wreck still" I sniffle and dry my tears.
"No worries honey, I was like that for months after I had my boys. Poor Richard had to sooth both his children and his wife" she says, and Patrick scrunches his nose.
