[ THE NIGHT COALITION & THE DAYS UNION . ]
[ WARNING: mentioned deaths. ]You groaned, seemingly you awakened with sore eyes. It's probably due to crying too much.
You slowly sat up, you looked around and looked at your hands. They were stained with dried blood.
Flashbacks appeared in your memories. You were on your knees and sobbing while your lifeless little brother that's barley even 10 laid in your arms, deceased.
You could only look down in shame, how pathetic and weak are you to not be able to save your little brother.
You cannot cry, not now.
You looked around again, overwhelmed with all the emotions. Your shaky and fragile frame slowly stood up and carefully took each step forward.
You seemed to be in a room, looking through accessible glass, you seemed to be in some kind of... experiment room.
Ah, guess they caught you huh.
You clenched your fists in anger and frustration, why didn't they kill you when they had a chance? Why did they have to bring you more suffering?
Thinking about the cocky grins on their faces made you even more angry. The grins while they stepped all over the corpses that belonged to your friends, relatives, villagers.
Soon, a door opening could be heard, you saw people enter, although. They looked nothing like the nights. Now you're just confused. Who are these people?
You stepped back from the glass when they approached, they looked pleasant that you're awake.
" ah, I see you have awakened. What's your name? "
One of the men asked, you scoffed.
" why should I tell you who I am? How can I know that I could even trust you? You even put me in here to what? Experiment on me? "
You replied, the man frowned at your attitude.
" no, we did not put you in this room intentionally to perform experiments on you, we're simply just afraid that you had the night's disease. You came from outside after all. "
The man explained, they sounded very... furious
towards the nights, perhaps you could trust them. You sighed in relief and broke down on the floor. Your frame becoming more shaky, remembering the events. They were absolutely horrifying and traumatising.
The men seemed a little surprised at your behaviour but they continued to observe you anyway.
" where are you from? Why are you here? "
The man asked, your shaky frame with built up tears in your eyes only looked at them with eyes filled with fear. Some looked at you in pity.
" a-after the nights, they attacked my village. They killed everyone in my village! I-I was the only one left so I ran. I almost got killed but I saw the gate outside your walls opened so I ran...into it. "
You replied, trying your best not to stutter. But the shaking is obvious in your voice.
" I see... I'm very sorry for your loss. Though, you'll have to stay in this room for a while. We have to make sure you did not get infected with the night's disease. "
The man looked at you, you only nodded. Still recovering from the events.
The men gave you their names, and they were the days. Opposite from the nights. They had informed you that the nights were their enemies. And that they wanted to put an end to it.
They also told you that maybe after you get out of the room and confirming that you don't have the night's disease, they might take you on a tour of their great city.
Though, it seemed that the man from earlier that spoke the most was 'great_day' which was the supreme leader of The days union.
You took in all the information, you let down your guard a little bit more, not completely trusting these people. But knowing they're not in good terms with the nights relieved you so much.
The next thing you know they took your blood for the test. And you fell asleep right after.
You know you're not completely safe, though. You'll definitely savour these peaceful times before it's gone.
Who knows? Maybe the nights are planning something right now.
