Part 41

Betty pov

After our girls day Veronica and Cheryl go home and I get on Toni's motorcycle as she's neighbours with jug and since I was going to his house it made sense.

Once we arrive I hug Toni goodbye and jug answers the door looking like a excited puppy.

"You missed me" I teased and kissed his lips for a second making him chuckle.

"Of course I did" he said making me smile.

"Hey honey" fp said and I immediately go over to him giving him a big hug.

"Hi" I said happily and he looked at me in worry as I was still in a bit of pain and I guess it was visible.

"Are you okay, do you need to go back to hospital,do you think any of the wounds are reopening" he asked worried and I chuckled although inside I felt warm.

It's nice knowing you have people who care about you.

"Don't worry I'm fine none of its re opening it just hurts quite a lot still" I said and he nodded sadly.

"Jug I need to ask your dad something can you take this upstairs for me I'll be up in a second" I said handing him my bag and he nodded going upstairs.

"What is it sweetheart jug hasn't done anything wrong has he if he did I can kick him out" he said making me giggle.

"No jug treats me like a princess so no worries there I just wanted to ask you something" I said and he nods.

I then talk about how I've been wanting to join the serpents with Veronica and Cheryl and I was honestly expecting him to say no.

"Of course you can Betty either way you're family but everyone in the bar absolutely loves you and of course veroncia and Cheryl. We would love to have you as part of the serpents" he says and I smile so happy and hug him again.

"Thank you thank you thank you" I say happily making him chuckle.

"Do you think jug will get mad" I asked him and he shook his head.

"I'm not sure I don't think he'll get mad, but he won't want you doing anything dangerous but we can avoid that, he also won't like the idea of you doing the dance so I think just don't tell him you're joining then if he gets mad I'll talk some sense into him" he says and I nod and we talk for a few more minutes before I go upstairs.

"Come here princess I've missed you all day" jug said opening his arms for me and I smiled happily getting into bed with him cuddling up.

"Did you have fun with the girls" jug asked rubbing my back as a movie was on and I nodded.

"Yeah it was so much fun it was nice to just feel normal for once what about you, did you and the boys have fun" I asked him and he nodded and told me about it.

I loved simply just listening to him talk there was something about his voice that just really soothed me.

I loved how little parts of me were slowly making a way into jugheads bedroom. Once my mom left and jug realised I'd be spending quite a lot of time here he went out and bought me stuff.

Little things like stuff for when I'm on my period my favourite moisturiser and a new blanket not caring that's it's pink and didn't match his dark room.

That's one of the things I love about him. He shows his love in so many more ways then just saying it.

I've always admired that about him.

"You're beautiful you know that" jughead said to me as he kissed my cheek.

It made my heart melt as he knew that I've been struggling with my confidence especially since the kidnapping.

I hated all the scars that were left on me and considering I was already self conscious it didn't really help.

But jughead knows that and has noticed me being self conscious and helps me through it. Just as he does with everything.

"You're amazing jug I don't even think you realise how lucky I am" I said happily and interlocked our lips together.

We made our for a little while before I started to make it go further but jug noticed how nervous I was.

"Betts what are you doing" he said concerned.

"This is what you want right I wanna make you happy" I said and he shook his head.

"No baby I don't want anything until you're ready okay, I don't care if I have to wait months years or whenever, what Logan did can take a long time to recover from baby and I never ever want to make you uncomfortable. It will happen when it happens and I don't care when that is. I love you for you Betty. You don't have to feel like you need to do all of these things to make me love you" jughead said and I just looked at him with the most loving eyes.

How can a boy be this caring. Not many guys would turn down sex to make a girl more comfortable.

He's everything I could ever want and I couldn't be more grateful.

"Thank you juggie" I said to him genuinely.

"Betty you never have to thank me for doing the bare minimum, I know you haven't been shown the bare minimum from a guy but this is it. I'll spend a life time trying to make you feel all of the love you possibly deserve" he said and I smiled kissing him again.

"I love you to I hope you know that" I say and he nods.

"I do baby, I promise" he said and I smiled.

For the rest of the night we just snuggle and watch movies and talk and laugh.

I can't help but get lost in the thought of how perfect my life is as I drift of to sleep.
