Part 25

Jughead pov

For the rest of the day we spend it at the bar until it was around 7 and I wanted to go back to my house.

That way Betty can get a little bit used to my house to make her feel welcome. And we could watch a movie in my room since I have a big tv.

"Dad I'm gonna take Betty home I would stay later but I wanna make her feel welcome at the house" I said to him as I left Betty with Toni for a minute.

"Okay boy I'll probably be here until pretty late so just warn Betty so she doesn't get scared if she hears me coming in" he replied and I smiled and nodded.

"Let's get going princess" I told Betty and she nodded hugging Toni,sweet pea and fangs goodbye.

I wrap my jacket around her knowing it's cold outside and hold her hand.

I literally live 2 doors away from the serpent bar so of course we walk.

My house is around the same size as Betty's and I'm really grateful for it. In the start we just had a trailer but now the bar gets a lot of money so my dad bought this place.

We go inside and hotdog comes running towards us.

"Oh my god juggie you have a dog you didn't tell me" Betty said so excited and started petting him making me chuckle.

"He's not technically ours he just lives here most of the time in the day he roams freely" I told her and kissed her head.

"He's so cute" Betty said happily and i smiled.

"Not quite as cute as you though" I replied making her blush.

I showed her around then we went up to my room. My rooms pretty big and has a tv a big bed and other stuff.

"Baby do you wanna sleep in here with me or in the guest room or if you wanna sleep in here I can sleep in the guest room or I can sleep on the floo-" my rambling is cut of by her lips on mine In a sweet but meaningful kiss.

"I'll sleep with you juggie" Betty said making me smile.

I help her unpack the things she bought not caring that her girly stuff is mixed in my dark room.

I like that my room can now have little bits of Betty in it.

"And who's this guy" I smiled picking up a teddy bear that she had brought with her and Betty blushed in embarrassment.

"It's something Cheryl and Veronica bought me because right after you came back I was pretty stressed out" she chuckled kissing my cheek.

"Well we will have to take good care of him then" I smiled and displayed it proudly on my bed along with Betty's pink blanket.

We both changed into pyjamas and we ordered some food to be delivered since we hadn't really eaten a lot just snacks at the bar and whilst Betty didn't care I was absolutely starving.

We both ate together as I put a movie on letting Betty pick.

She picked rebel without a cause which is why favourite movie and she knows that. Even know she likes that movie too I know she put it on just for me.

She ends up snuggled on my chest as we just talk with each other.

We haven't really had that much alone time since we met again and it's nice to just be in each other's presence.

And if it's keeping her mind of the fact her dad's probably being realised right now then I'm here for it.

"What's your favourite animal" she asked me and I just started laughing making her playful pout at me.

"I'm serious you know my deepest trauma and I barley know your favourite colour" Betty giggled making me smile.

She's so adorable.

"A snake what about you" I asked her.

"A sloth" she smiled and I just looked into her eyes.

"Hmm what's your favourite food" I ask her and she thinks for a minute.

"Probably pizza I'm guessing yours is burgers" she said making me nod.

"What's your favourite song" she asked me. "Can't help falling in love by Elvis Presley" I say without even thinking.

"That used to be our favourite when we were kids" Betty smiled happily.

And for the next few hours we spend time with each other. For just a few moments the world was perfect.

Just a boy and a girl falling hopelessly in love with each other.

"Betts" I asked her and she looks up at me.

"I've been wanting to ask you this and was gonna ask you on our date but now I'm not sure when that will be. Since the moment I've had you back in my life I've known I wanted you and you can of course say no if you feel like it's too fast or just aren't ready for it. You're going through a lot right now and I wanna go through it with you as your boyfriend. So Betty cooper will you be my girlfriend" I asked with a soft voice id only use with her and a bit of nerves swarming in my stomach.

She looks up at me with the biggest smile I've seen these past few days.

"Yes jug of course" she said with the biggest smile and interlocked our lips together.

I was overjoyed to say the least. I don't know how I've managed to get Betty's attention considering she is the girl that every guy dreams of getting.

And I'm just some random serpent from the wrong side of the tracks. She's perfect in every way and as long as she wants me I'll be there.

In a way it's always been me and her.

We pull away from the kiss and she's let's out a little giggle that could make any sad person smile.

We talk for a little while longer before I see her start getting sleepy and her words were slurring from being tired making me smile.

"Let's go to sleep beautiful" I told her and she nodded snuggling up to me in the big bed.

I made sure she was warm enough as she was somehow always cold.

I was happy her mind hadn't been on Hal and she was actually happy.

And that night I fell asleep peacefully knowing I had the most amazing girlfriend a guy could ask for.
