before this starts i just wanna say sorry for not updating a lot I've been kinda busy with school and stuff so im probably gonna do a chapter on this book and maybe 2 days or so I'll do another chapter and if I don't make a chapter in 2 days means I'm probably busy ok

hunter pov

I woke up in the living room on the couch i sat up and looked around and rubbed my eyes ' where are they ' i thought as i got up from the couch i started Walking to the kitchen and saw the owl lady in the kitchen " hey looks like you are awake now " the owl lady said " ummm yeah " i said kinda nervous " luz is out with her friends at the moment so she won't be back until later " eda said I nodded to let her know I get it

1 hour later

I was sitting on the floor looking out off the window wondering where flapjack is then as I was just thinking I heard a familiar chirping noise ' FLAPJACK ' i immediately knew that would be flapjack and I was right he landed on my shoulder hugging me i patted his head " hey buddy I was just wondering where you were " I said kinda smiling at the red cardinal on my shoulder the owl lady walked in and said " hey kid looks like you found your bird well i just wanna say I need to go to the night Market and i can't leave you here so I need you to come with me it's also cause I don't want you escaping " she said to me i was kinda nervous to be honest I rather stay in the house then go out " you know you can trust me by myself right i won't do anything " i said kinda want her say alright but of course she said " no I can't leave you here and I don't want those coven heads coming here and finding you and taking you back to the emperor coven" the owl lady said just remember that name just gives me the chills " we leave in 2 hours ok kid" she said i nodded at what she said

Eda pov

I just told the kid he has to come with me to the night Market i just have to grab a few things there anyway i just hope the emperor coven doesn't find out the kid is with me atleast ' i still need to find out what happened to the kid that night ' i thought

I starting to get concerned about the kid when I saw he was like just zoned out or something we have about 1 hour and 49 minutes left until we leave so before anything I decide to go back to the kid and see what he is thinking about

" hey kid are you okay?" I said to the boy on the ground there was no reply for like about 2 minutes " hmm oh hey owl lady you need something " the kid said " oh umm not really i was just wondering what you were thinking about that's all " i said " oh umm nothing really to be honest " he said i was still a little concerned but i just tried to ignore it for now..
