A Moo Moo Treat

Sonic whimpers out of discomfort cause of the new bite mark that was on his neck, that Piper was busy stitching up, it only going to leave a scar on the area. "I'm almost done Sonic..." she tells the mobian.

Sonic had so many questions swirling around his mind, like why did Shadow bite him, and why does he always feel weird around Shadow. When Piper finished Sonic rubbed his neck where the stitching before looking back at Piper.

"You have some questions?" She asked, looking down at Sonic.

The mobian looks away, as he nodded he really didn't like asking for help since he like figuring things out, but in this situation he didn't really have a choice.

Travis heard the banging coming from the fence, that was attached to Shadow stable, he only shakes his head as he walks over to open the gate, for the bull.

Shadow was about to throw himself a third time at the fence, when he heard the sound of the gate doors opening in a different direction...but instead of getting out he was blocked by Sonic who thanked Travis.

The information that he got from Piper, was kind of brief, since he didn't want to know a lot just why Shadow bit him, and to his understanding...the bull had claimed him as his mate, whatever that means, to his uneducated mind that means that he made a friend.

"What do you want?" Shadow growled.

"I wanted to spend time with you, after all you marked me" Sonic said pointing to the stitched up claim mark on his neck.

Shadow only looked at Sonic, Did this kid really not understand how a mate works...or what a claim mark actually means...either way having the cow with him might make this whole guarding his territory thing much easier.

"So...Will you finally tell me your name, Mister" Sonic said looking up at Shadow, who only walked closer to him. "It's Shadow, Shadow Terios Hedgehog"

"It's nice to meet you Sha-EEK!!" Sonic squeaked when was pulled closer to his new mate, his face was pressed up against Shadow's chest fur, he couldn't really pull away since the warmth kind of felt nice...and the bulls scent...was kind of calming.

Sonic's eyes fluttered opened as he lets out a small yawn, did he really fall asleep in Shadow's arms, he looked around to find that he wasn't in his barn, and that there was something warm and soft underneath him, he pulled back to find that his head was resting on Shadow's side.

So much for staying awake, he looked at the window to find that moonlight was shining in, did he really fall asleep for the rest of the afternoon, this just gave him another reason to hate the winter season, his body was always trying to find an excuse to get him to hibernate, it was just his hedgehog genes, and Shadow's warm just made it a bit more easy. He pushes himself up and off of Shadow, he needed to stay active just so he could stay awake.

Shadow pulled Sonic back down, and nuzzles into his hip, making the cow stiffen his muscles. "Stay..." Shadow mutters.

"But I..." Sonic started. His whole life he never really hibernated, since he felt bad for not helping out on the farm the place that he lives in...but the winter seasons weren't really all that busy so Travis and Piper can handle the hard work themselves, in fact they kind of encouraged the mobian to get that sleep, instead of over working himself.
