Prologue:
5th period
"Okay class, we'll see you after break. Remember, you've got to read chapters 15 through 20 and write a 2 page essay on what it takes to survive in their world like they did." My classmates moaned with boredom. I already read them, so I was good to go. Everything in my world was boring, so imagining how to live like others in worlds was my gateway to adventure. Everything that's been said and done, I've seen it all before. Everything's too normal. It's the same every year, ever since Jr. High, where they taught us to live in this world of boredom and money and just about anything else that man obsesses over. It's been this way for 6 years.
6th period
"When you get back, you've got to write a page report what you did over spring break, so try to make your break something to remember. Make it awesome, make it an adventure, and make it out of this world!" That's not how I thought my break would've gone - after all, nothing ever happens in Hokkaido. I live with my younger sister Natsumi, and my parents are never home, but they send us money. My dad's a major movie producer, and my mom is, believe it or not, a spy, so like I said, they're both rarely at home. If they ever found out what happened to me, Dad would probably turn it into a movie, and Mom would've sent me to examination labs and had scientists probe me in my brain for radiation. I really can't hold it in though. Everything was so messed up, I don't think I'm even myself anymore. So, I'll tell it to you, and maybe you'll believe me. Maybe I won't feel insane anymore. So, here's what happened to me on my break.
