I smiled at the 3 of them, laughing at the dogs sniffing their feet. My granddaughters and my son......they were here with me and I got the chance to see them. I didn't think I would experience what I did last year. Me and Kennie left Louisiana, trying to get away from the bullshit Omari put my daughter in. He comes here and brings all this chaos and drama with him and.....tries to kidnap Kennie and Mosi.

The twins wouldn't be here, my daughter.....but they all are. The twins were almost 1 in a few more months, I looked at my son giggling with his aunties. I looked back waiting for one more baby to come back with Esmerelda......everyone went to work and I'm happy that she was here with me to help.

Jiji's aunt helped me with Kennie from 6th grade and up, there were things I couldn't help my daughter with and thankfully Esmerelda was here to help me. Thank God she came in time, cuz a few months later...Kennie entered into womanhood. Someone around the neighborhood was gonna help me with that.....cuz I would've been completely lost!

I turned back to the kids and caught Nicey's hand in time, when she tried to give Oreo a chocolate covered nutella snack. At 11 months, she's the ring leader of everyone and one with the most personality.....they love it, cuz it entertains the kids. Nicey will somehow pull her sister and their uncle into some typa trouble....Moshir just barely learning how to crawl at 4 months, would be trailing right behind them laughing.

"No chocolate for doggies...." I took the snack and showed them, wagging my finger and pointing at Oreo. The three of them silently looked between me and the dogs, circling around their chairs. "No.....for doggies...." I slowly signed again.

Qasiria's mouth moved, pointing at the dogs. I raised my thumb at her and she clapped her hand, covering her giggles. Thankfully all of their hearings came out ok, but the minute they all could understand words spoken to them, we started teaching them ASL. Mosi, who are the twins older cousin is unable to hear, grandpa can't hear and I have a toddler son.

Kofi and Malikah's son is automatic.....we're all always around each other. I gave junior his snack and he greedily ate it.....I huffed at my son and looked at his aunties raising their hands in the air and giggling with each other. I smiled when I saw what they were telling each other.....

Qas barely signed the word daddy, I smiled....she's the true daddy's girl, but loves her mom something fierce. Qas always reached for her dad first, Qasim is over the moon and stars and he loves it. Q got what he wanted, but it wouldn't have mattered if it was boys.....long as he has children with Kennie. I see how he really loves my daughter, I see it better than what Omari thought he was giving her. I looked around the gorgeous house, the size of it alone speaks on how much kids he wants and I'm all for more grandbabies.

Nicey doubtfully signed the word mommy and I lightly pinched her cheek in applaud and she giggled. Nicey's smile was wide like her mom's.....Qasiria is quiet mischievous, like her mom, Nicey is the true back bone of the pair. She will protect her sister, nephew, Moshir and definetly their big cousin, Mosi. So much like her aunty Jiji, but they all have a lil bit of everyone in them.

I ran my hand over junior's head, I honestly thought it would only be Kennie for me. After Jordyn......I wasn't big on finding another relationship, no one ever really piqued my interest enough to even go that far as dating. Then I move up here with Kennie.....and I meet Kandace, she didn't make me feel invalid. My wife didn't fight against me, she didn't get annoyed with me and I'm happy. I have Kandace and she gave me the opportunity to really see and understand what love is, God blessed us with a child of our own.......be really happy in love.
