Erwin and his damn meetings. At the crack of dawn he called everyone in.

So, you as the Section Commander of the 104th obviously have to attend. Just like your dear Co-Captain. Levi Ackermann. He looks particularly good this morning. Hair slightly messy. Eyes tired of sleeplessness. Morning lips. His lips in the mornings are particularly plump. You wonder how his plump lips would feel like on your-

"Section Commander, YN." Erwin rips you out of your thoughts. You're not really fazed by it. Eyes looking drunk on your lovers features but still focused on the target.

"Yeah?" You answer earning a few looks by a few people including Levi because of your rather informal answer.
"Yes, Commander is what I meant." you clear you throat.
„Do you have any questions about the next mission?"
„No, Commander!" You do. A lot of questions. But you'll discuss it later over some tea with your co-captain. It will probably take a lot of convincing for him to do but whatever. He always gives in at the end.

„thank you, everyone is excused." Erwin finally ends the meeting. You fold the paper you brought with you for "important details" and put it into your jacket. There really were no details on it and only doodles of little hearts with arrows through them. You walk past Levi not trying to pay him any mind or attention. You love to play hard like that and so does he. But your steps are quickly halted.

„My room, tonight." You feel the breath of your not so sworn enemie next to your ear as he stops you to tell you the message.

He was never really your enemy. Matter of fact you're probably his most beloved person in a non romantic way because of both your history. He would never admit it though. Everyone just kind of assumed since you two are bickering like an old married couple the whole day. On the other hand rumors have it that you're personally involved with the Captain.

„Always after one damn thing tsk." You scofff sarcastically. "But you know me so well...Captain." You tell him while walking away from him with your fingers lingering on his arm. "I was waiting for your invitation." you whispered seductively

Levi won't admit but, you calling him captain just does something unexplainable to him and until now, he would never admit it. Why? Well, Levi and you weren't always like this. You knew eachother from way back in the day.

A few years ago somewhere underground:

You and Levi were working together since being in the underground. Both of you stole from the MPs. Both of you gave to the ones that couldn't afford. Just like you once couldn't...but one day you got caught.

"You're not joining the survey corps Levi." You tell him walking across the kitchen in your base you've been building for the past year. „ I am y/n and you should too." he says sternly knowing he has to make this clear to you because if you don't come with him you will be alone again in this filthy underground. He wouldn't let that happen but he had to be harsh.
"I really do not understand why you would do that Levi. We've been building up our own little thing for the past year to help our people and you just want to throw this away?" You say turning to him with tears glistening in your eyes about to drop. To be quiet frank you are scared. Being a cadet won't be easy and you don't have to go up to see them training to know. Titans. Titans were the second reason you didn't want to join. Loss and Grief is something you dont want to deal with ever again especially if it would be your partner you'd loose. So why even get into a situation like that?

Levi doesn't even want to come himself. But what other options were there? Going to prison? Everyone rotting in their own cells. Who knows if they'd ever see each other again. In the survey corps they're together at least and he would make sure of that.

"Come with us y/n. Isabel and Furlan are coming too. I won't leave you alone down here."
Isabel. Your dearest Isabel. You and Levi took her in after you found her alone in some corner of a tavern surrounded by drunk guys. The moment she looked at you with her sparkling eyes and wide smile your hearts attached. She was like your little sister. Would she survive? Would she survive in the survey corps? No, she wouldn't she is still so young and needs someone to protect her and if you won't go with her you know you will forever regret your choice.

"Please, think about it." Levi says grabbing your shoulder as he walks to the door. "I will Levi." Not to your surprise, you only hear a loud thud once Levi opened the door. Isabel and Furlan were eavesdropping. Seeing them worried in anticipation of your answer only deepened that feeling of guilt in your heart.

So a few days later you're standing in front of the commanders office. Signing this fucked up deal.

From there on you and Levi became inseperable once again.
