HE ALWAYS GIVES IN [Levi Ackerman x Reader]

chapt. 5

"She was with me. The whole night." Levi says almost like poison dripping from his mouth. Hanji looks at both of you and if you weren't in that serious of a situation they would've gone crazy about the bomb Levi just dropped. You knew Levi was going to believe you since what he is saying is the truth. For him to shout it at the top of his lungs to a Commander in front of everyone was unexpected. You look at him and he looks at you, giving you a reassuring nod. What he is trying to convey is that you shouldn't be scared because he is going to handle it.

"What? Do you want to put her in prison without any evidence?" The rooms watches Levi defending you in full honor.

"You can't do anything about it Captain Ackerman, we have a warrant out for her arrest." Two police officers walk towards you to put handcuffs on you. Levi Ackerman is about to pull out a small knife from his back to threaten the MPs and just before he sprints to attack, he is stopped. Usually he is never this irrational but when it comes to you? All his morals burn down.

Erwin holds him back. "You won't help her situation." He whispers to him. Gritting his teeth his Ackerman sense has never been this heightened. He wanted to protect you and he was afraid. That they'll hurt you. They'll kill you even.

Why once your relationship is about to blossom something came crashing down on it? What is it with destiny keeping him from loving? Was this his curse proceeding?

"It wasn't me!" The first words you finally spoke sent shivers down Levis spine. Erwin let's him go and Levi rushes towards you with a frightened but convinced look. "I will get you out there. I swear on my life, i will."
"I trust you, Levi!" You say as they drag you at the door. When in that moment the 104th cadets walk past you in shock.

"Captain (Y/N)! What is going on??" Eren and Jean ask you distressed while the MP officers keep dragging you along. The cadets of the 104th have become somewhat of your own children, so them seeing you like this made you really sad.

Not because you were scared they couldn't trust you but rather because you were scared that something might happen to you and the last time they saw you was in handcuffs.

"Let me talk to the kids, goddamn it!" You try to get their hands off of you while the cadets follow you. "Kids, Captain Levi, Hanji and Erwin are inside the meeting room find Levi and he'll tell you everything." you tell them huffing from trying to get out of thei MPs hands.

"Alright Section Commander." The Kids nodded eagerly and ran to the room you told them about to figure out what the actual hell is happening and why their Section Commander is being detained by the military police.

While you are being brought down to the dungeon for interrogation, the Cadets found Levi.

You were sure the MPs wont touch you because they're scared your titan powers would go off.

"Captain Levi what the hell happened with Section Commander Y/N??" Eren asks quickly out of breath while the others wait for Levis answer.

Levi and you have become so important to the cadets. And they have become so important to you too. While other Captains told you not to get too attached to your cadets you didn't care. You never did.

You were selfish so you loved and loved in every aspect of your life.

Levi tells them the situation you're in because you know you would have wanted that. You trust this team with your life. Between you and them there are not really any secrets. None but maybe one?

"Wait, what?" Connie asks trying to understand.

"Okay, Captain just to make sure. How can you be sure she isn't a titan shifter? We trust her, but just to have our story straight when they come to interrogate us?" Armin tries to ask without making it seem like he is doubting you. As the most strategic person in the room, Armin likes to make sure that he knows what happened from every perspective. Like all the other Cadets of the 104th, he is too shy to admit it but you're sort of a mother figure to him. So him and the other Cadets will always defend you no matter what happens because they love you and they know you would defend them the same way with every single fiber in your body.

"Because she was with me all night." Levi says again with full confidence and to be honest, now saying it infront of the Kids, he would've gotten kind of shy if it wasn't for the situation you're in.

All of the Cadets went quiet and shy after hearing the Captain explain her exact whereabouts that night. "Oh so it's like that."Sasha and Connie smirk. Honestly, they kind of knew that this would happen sooner or later. You and Captain Levi never seem to get enough of talking with eachother even in front of the Cadets so by now they would've figured you're more than just "friends and co-captains".

"I will head down to look for her while you get an acquittal from Historia."

You loved Historia. She trained under you for several years and you were the person apointed to protect her when the survey corps were accused of treason before making her the queen. And Historia loved you. You were the one that protected her from dying and titans several times at the start of her cadetlife.

You were the one that always stole some leftovers for her and the other cadets after Levi would have destroyed them in training that day. You'll also he the one that saves them from any trouble after getting caught sneaking out after a hard mission to just let loose and be free. In any affaire you were here to protect and defend them so every one of them shall do the same.

That's how the cadets knew that Historia - the queen - will definitely release you legally from prison.

And if that doesn't happen someone is on their way to do it illegally.
