Chapt.7

CRASH

"Captains are you in here?" That's Sashas voice!

You and Levi both looked at each other knowing that his confession is to follow. Not in front if the kids though, right?

For the second time in your life you were nervous. Nervous, like the first time you met...

In the underground: the first meeting

"Hello. I am Y/n." You went up to the young man that just beat a grown man up to a slump. You were nervous. Not because of his fighting skills because to be honest, your own came quite close to his. It's something else about him that charmed you...

He looks you up and down finally meeting his eyes again. He decides to go for a punch which you quickly dodge by crouching down. You've been living in the underground your whole life and this is not the way to greet someone. Especially not a good looking, fierce, young lady like you. Not that you were hoping for him to see you that way. I mean you just met him. Haha.

You swiftly swing your legs under his and he falls onto his back. Did he go easy on you or did you just catch him distracted?

"Didn't expect me to fight back huh?" You look down at him. Still you reach your hand out to him.

"Levi." He introduces to himself finally with a little grin.

Interesting. She's good. He thought to himself. As he got up and dusted his clothes off.

This could go somewhere.

Present

From the first day on he had a feeling about you. A good one at that. Was it God leading his heart to let loose a little and be open towards you?

Many footsteps come down the stairs and you and Levi know it is the cadets.

Levi looks at you and finally plants a kiss on your lips. Levis kisses were never a void. A mere peck on your cheek would have you feel like you're being embraced by him fully. Maybe that's why you were never heavy on PDA. Yet you never had enough of him. His fingers grazing your hand felt like fireworks. And when he loved you in the deep hours of the night it felt like the sun and moon collided.

"I have always loved you too, Y/n." The whole time he never let go of your hand. He took it to his lips and started to kiss it. "The kids are here. I'll have a lot to tell you later." He tells you smilingly. His smile could light up the world and cover the night with stars as his grey eyes squint a little. He is truly, the man of your life.

"Brats. We are down here." He yells

The whole Squad came running towards you. Eren, Armin, Mikasa, Sasha, Connie, Jean stop infront of you. It seems like Armin is holding some peace of paper. A paper from the crown? Mikasa and Eren have taken some sort of protective stance infront of Arming. Probably to protect the Document, Armin is holding.

All of them come to embrace you with Sasha almost crying out of happiness. "Captain Y/n!" She sniffed into your shirt "we thought we'd be too late." Ah how you love your little overdramatic cadets. "Sweetie I'm fine! Levi got here just in time." You are both smiling at eachother, nothing uncommon but the cadets notice some "tension". More tension then the usual one. They step away for a second and everyone looks at you two weirdly.

"Are you just happy to see eachother or why are you smiling like that?" Eren asks. You're always smiling anyways but Levi smiling happens once every full moon. That's just when he's not next to you though.

"My heart is just full being with my loved ones" You quickly say knowing Levi is not the type to answer these questions friendly. Levi just keeps smiling in awe at you.

"You are making it obvious Levi" you laughed at him as you whispered into his ear. This is truly one of the only times you have ever seen him this happy. Let's just hope the kids buy it anyways.

"We have to still get out now." Armin stressed. He kind of had a feeling what happened just before they came in.

"You're right Armin let us get out of here."

You finally got out of the dungeon into the fresh air and never has the air been fresher. Never has the sun been hotter on you skin. It even feels like the oxygen contains much more O-Moleculs after the newest confession.

You felt like you could breathe better, like a weight has been lifted off your shoulder and you could finally live your life to the fullest.

You brought the cadets back to their rooms and went out for a walk outside. By now it was dawn and the sun was setting. Everything seemes much more beautiful now. You hooked your arm through levis as he led you to your place. Which was a tree on the outskirts of wall maria that was on the safer side.

"Y/N." Levi started as he sat down next to you. "I have never been really open about anything really but I have to say-" Levi always had a sharp tongue and was quick with remarks or anything but you could say that the cat really got his tongue. The way yoou always looked at him with so much respect and admiration out of love was just something so pure to him. It was never fake or anything.

"I have loved you for so many years and your confession sparked this feeling in my chest that made me feel as if I could rule the world in this moment. As if I could kill all of the Titans walking on this planet just to protect you." Levi took your hands in his "I love you." He kissed you completing his speech.

The kisses from now were diffrent. They were fufilled. When you kissed back when you were just hooking up there was always this deeper feeling of longing behind your kiss. As if you were grabbing something you were so close to have but knew that it would be taken away the next moment.

He spilled out his chest and you never really had a problems with opening up to him about anything especially your feelings (unless when you were hiding the fact that you deeply loved him).

"You know it might sound really cheesy Levi...But I kind of always had this feeling that you were going to give in and would fall for me eventually...when we were kids though." You laughed which made flowers bloom in his chest. You explained to him everything you felt and wanted to say to him in moments where you couldn't in the past. After all this talk, which could've went on for hours and hours - which it did- you felt as conected as ever.

You had so much love to give him. Pure love which has waited to be accepted by him for years and years and which will continue to grow stronger every day of your shared lives.

It has always been Levi Ackemann.

"After all these years I can scream on top of the three walls that you're finally mine now, love."

Since you were kids in the underground to being cadets, to now being Captains of the Survey corps to being an old married couple and until the rest of your days and eternity this man was yours and was always meant to be yours.
