Genya and Muichiro sat underneath a cherry blossom tree. Awkwardness came from one of the slayers. The two had crossed paths and decided to sit down together.

After the news of the defeated Upper Moon 6, they had heard news of Tanjiro being in a coma for a month. Genya didn't care and the same could be said about Muichiro.

Muichiro stared at the clouds, trying to figure out their names. Genya heaved a sigh, trying to figure out what to do. The Mist hashira is an airhead. This made it difficult for him to try and express his feelings since he was usually ignored.

Slowly, the sky started turning into a yellowish-orange, color. Muichiro cocked his head at Genya. He examined him, getting a weird look from Genya.

"Who are you?" He questioned. Genya groaned in annoyance.

"I told you this like eight times!" He scolded at the mist hashira. Muichiro narrowed his eyes before turning his attention back at the sky.

Genya inhaled and exhaled slowly, suppressing his anger at the mist hashira. Muichiro then repeated what he did earlier: He cocked his head and examined Genya. Genya was ticked off at this point as he started getting up from the ground.

"Who are you?"

"I give up..." Said Genya. He sat back down as he stared at the mist hashira. The two stared at each other with comfortable silence between them. Muichiro gave a slight smile before he once again, turned to the sky.

Genya's cheek flushed red from the smile that he had gotten. He slowly pulled himself together as he got up from the ground and extended his right hand to the Mist Hashira.

Muichiro stared for a while before finally giving in. He grabbed Genya's hand and got up. He dusted off his uniform with his right arm. The two stood in the field, still holding each other's hand.  The slayers didn't seem to mind. And as usual, Muichiro would stare at the sky, examining the clouds. Genya just watched, feeling a slight blush creeping upon him.

Just then, a crow came and landed on Muichiro's shoulder. Genya quickly let go of his hand and looked away. Ginko, Muichiro's crow, glared at him. Muichiro turned to his crow in curiosity.

"Head southeast! A massacre was reported!" Ginko yelled out as she flew up to the sky, leading Muichiro the right way.

He nodded and started to walk away, leaving Genya alone. Genya sighed before sitting back down. He had no mission so he would rather enjoy sitting there than doing something else.

Muichiro stopped in his tracks and turned to Genya and smiled. Genya stared as he felt a smile creeping up onto his face.

"May we Cross paths again, Genya." Genya's eyes widened in shock. He didn't tell his name after the 8th time of him asking. There was no way he would possibly remember, right?

Just then, before Genya could say anything, Muichiro quickly disappeared, heading to his next mission.

"Of course I'm not able to respond." He groaned before getting up. His crow perched on a nearby tree. Genya looked over as he spoke,

"Hashibami, any missions?" He questioned. The crow shook its head.

"Great..." Genya walked away from the field, still remembering his interaction with the Mist Hashira. He was sure that Muichiro would forget him whenever they meet again.

But a part of him hoped he remembered whenever they crossed paths again...
