I was woken up by the sound of the alarm clock and the birds. I quickly made a coffee, I don't even know how I managed it, but I did. I put on a shirt and pants, since it was hot outside. I literally ran to the bus and looked for the location on my cell phone. On the way, I stopped at a bakery and bought some pastries .

There was no free place to sit in the bus, so I had to stand. I have never ridden a bus in my life, let alone stood in one.

We drove for a long time, but we finally arrived at Camp Nou or whatever it's called. Somehow I managed to get in, but the building was huge, I wandered until some man stopped me. "I'm Xavi Hernandez, coach of FC Barcelona, you must be Sofia," the man introduced himself. "Yes, my name is Sofia Díaz," I answered. "I know, your dad is a good friend of mine, so I'm glad to have you here," explained Xavi with a smile on his face. "I'm glad to be here too," I replied with a nervous smile, knowing I was lying to myself.

"Now let's go meet the team, so I'll take you on a tour, okay?", asked Xavi. "Of course," I agreed. A team, like a football team? Wonderful, I'm meeting people I've been avoiding all my life. In fact, I think football itself is pointless. By the way, how am I going to help Xavi when I don't even know what offside is?

Xavi took me to the field where the team practiced. Just a bunch of idiots running after the ball in my opinion.

"Everyone in line," Xavi shouted. Everyone immediately ran and did it. Wow, they really respected him. "This is Sofia Díaz, my new assistant. Now introduce yourself.", Xavi said and the players started to introduce themselves:
"I'm Robert Lewandowski",well I know him ofc.
"My name is Frenkie de Jong"
"Ronald Araujo"
"Ferran Torres"
"Ansu Fati"
"Pablo Gavi"
...

Then that one team member introduced himself.
"I'm Pedro Gonzalez or Pedri shorter"
Something was familiar about him, I just didn't know what.

...
*Pedri's pov*
This new girl is very familiar to me for no reason. Her name and face are very familiar to me. It's as if I've seen her somewhere, once upon a time.Maybe I would have remembered if Gavi hadn't dragged me back to training.

I don't know what happened to me, but I couldn't concentrate on training, I just looked at that girl. I felt moody around her. Maybe it's just a feeling, I thought. Until it hit me, Sofia Díaz, third grade elementary school. I had a sick crush on her. I've never had a crush on anyone like I have on her in my life. I also remembered how in fifth grade she embarrassed me in front of the whole class, refusing go with me to a small prom.

I had to pay attention to the training, not to the girl, especially not to a girl like Sofia Díaz. But again... I was wondering what she was doing here?

*Sofia's pov*

Xavi went to get someone to show me around, and I stayed with the team. I watched what they were doing, and nothing was clear to me. I realized that one boy was keeping his eyes on me. Why, did I do something unnatural? That was a boy I knew a while ago. Maybe he remembered me too? But from where? Maybe I'm just being hysterical?

Xavi finally came back, and with him was a girl around my age. "My name is Maria, I work here as a physiotherapist," the girl introduced herself. "I'm Sofia, I'm glad," I answered. The girl showed me around and I actually started to like her. She told me how she moved to Spain from Portugal to finish school, but fell in love with the city and football and stayed. If only it were so easy to fall in love with football, I thought.

After the tour, the shift was almost over. That tells you how big the place really is. There were no buses at that time, so I had to wait for about two hours. When Xavi heard that, he didn't even let me think about it. He called one of the boys from the team. My apartment was on his way, so he could take me. I waited with Xavi in front of the dressing room, and the same boy from before came out, followed by another, if I remember correctly, their names were Gavi and Pedri. The first one just scanned me with his eyes, which was a little creepy , and the other extended his hand and shouted: "I'm glad to meet you officially, I'm Gavi, if you don't remember from before." He smiled from ear to ear, and that gave me some comfort. "I'm very glad Gavi , I'm Sofi, once again." Gavi and I followed Pedri, apparently Gavi doesn't have a ride home either.

There was complete silence in the car, they didn't have to be silent because I was there. We finally got to my apartment and I got out, and they continued to drive on their way.
