Chapter 5

"Where Spider-Man?" Steve asked Loki.

"Right here sir," Peter responded as he landed behind them.

"Wow look who decided to show up."

"I'm sorry I was busy almost dying," Peter responds with was.

"Sorry that was rude," Peter apologized quickly.

"It's okay man, it was just a joke," Clint told him. The Avenger suddenly felt protective over the young teen after hearing him apologizing over nothing.

"Um, so... here's what I wanted to say," Peter started his confidence faultering.

"Um, well, I don't really trust y'all, but I want to find a way to," Peter tell them, before going quiet. Everyone else stays quiet until Tony pops up.

"I have an idea!" Tony yells out.

"Go ahead," Peter told him curiously. 

"What if you stayed with us for a little while, so we can prove to you that we can be trusted," Tony suggests. They all look at Peter. Peter looked at Loki.

"Can I borrow Loki for a minute?" Peter asked. Loki walked over to him and they both started whispering incoherently in a different language. 

"Okay here's the deal, you will not demask me, I won't tell you my name, you cannot control me, my mask stays on unless I say otherwise, I can leave when I want and you can't go through my mind without my content, I'm looking at you Ms. Maximoff," Peter tells them. They all shrug and agree.

"Okay, but we have some terms too, first we all have bracelets that dictate our mood; If someone is wearing a green you can talk to them, if they are wearing yellow be cautious of talking to them, and if it's red don't talk to them," Tony states. (I got this idea from another story, I can't remember the title) 

"I like that system, can I be included?" Peter says impressed by it.

"Sure," 

"Okay and second, we all take turns making dinner every night it'll be on a calendar," Natasha told him. Peter nodded.

"Okay, but one more thing, I need a soundproof cameraless room," Peter declares. They all look at the Spider guy.

"Done," Clint agreed.

"Let's go Noobmaster," Loki tells him, causing Thor's eyes to grow.

"You!" Thor boomed. Everyone knew about his rivalry with noobmaster69.

"Yeah, Mr. Thor can you tell Mr. Korg that I'm sorry for the last game," The Arachnid apologized.

"Of course, Man of Spiders," Thor boomed once more as they step into their jet.

"Oh, can we know your age?" Rhodey asks as they all walk in and sit down.

"Uh, I guess, I'm uh, sixteen," Peter answered. 

"WHAT?!" They all yell, except Loki, shocked.

"We almost killed a kid?" Clint asks feeling even guiltier.

"Wait how old were you when you took down Thanos?" Natasha asked.

"It was 5 days before my 15th birthday," Peter responded feeling bad for no reason. Everyone looked pretty upset.

"So you were 14 when we almost killed you and you were 14 when you took down Thanos," Bucky asks for clarification.

"Yeah, also by the way, I think your arm is freaking cool," Peter says excitedly.
