first steps

In which kevin helps david with his first steps 

Third Person Pov 

Kevin held his son up by his arms helping him walk across the living room. Every here and there david would slip but kevin always caught him. These moments were symbolic of how kevin wasn't ever gonna let his son fall. When push comes to shove he would always give his son love and affection. 

Sure from time to time he would be hard on him to prepare him for the dangerous world but no matter what he would always have his sons back. Kevin then picked his son up and spun him around earning cute little laughs. He then kissed his sons forehead before putting him down on the ground.

Kevin then went to the kitchen to grab something but david made grabby hands wanting his father to come back. David then attempted to stand up before falling but he tried again wanting to get to his father who was in the kitchen. David then grabbed onto the chair for support and slowly walked to the kitchen. 

He continued to walk slowly until he was in front of his father. Kevin smiled before picking his son up and spinning him around. "You did it dude!" Kevin says earning little giggles from his son. David's first steps were to his father and every day after that whenever he had a problem he ran right to his father. 

Kevin knew that no matter how old his son got he would always need him every step david took brought him closer to his father. In fact david was on his way home from the studio and quickly got out his car and took ten steps inside the house before hugging his father tightly he had missed his dad. 

Kevin returned the hug but after a couple seconds pulled away. 

Short but it's something
