Off to college

In which kevin gets emotional watching his son go off to college (to the person who requested this i once again sincerely apologize) 

Third Person Pov 

David packs up all his bags ready to start a new chapter in his life. He looked around his room and couldn't help but think it looked weird without all his furniture. Kevin had tried to be strong all day but it no cap was hard watching his only son go off to college. He was so proud of how far david had came he was always proud. "Kay kay there's nothing wrong with being emotional about yo son leaving" Doug teases and kevin rolled his eyes. 

"Oh hush when have i ever been an emotional person" Kevin says. "You cried on our first date" Doug says and kevin quickly glared at him. "Ayooo that won't a date stop saying that and i cried cause we was forced to wear those ugly clothes not to mention we were eleven" Kevin says. "Whatever" Doug says before going to helping chris take a box outside. Kevin went upstairs and could have sworn he felt tears come to his eyes once he saw it was empty.

Darrian left the room taking a box outside before kevin walked in seeing his son looking outside. "Wow i'm really going to college" David says and kevin nods. "Yeah kid i guess you are" Kevin says and david playfully frowns. "Dad stop calling me that i'm a grown man now" David says and kevin smiled. David may have been grown but in kevins eyes he was still that little boy who would go to the studio with him and distract him from recording. 

When he had david his life truly changed he had grown up and matured and did everything in his power to be the best dad he could be. Kevin tried his best but this was truly an emotional moment and he hated crying or showing emotion but he couldn't help it. Kevin wordlessly pulled his son into a hug. David quickly returned the hug smiling knowing his father was taking this hard. "aye kay-" doug starts before walking in. 

Doug smiled warmly seeing the interaction before leaving. 'he gone cry when david pull out the driveway' doug thinks to himself before laughing going back outside. Just like doug suspected once davids car was out of sight kevin had a tear going down his cheek and doug quickly wrapped his arms around his best friend.
