I'm which Kevin will always be there for David (last chapter)

Third person Pov

Kevin came up to his sons room with a tub of ben and Jerry's ice cream. David was laying in his bed with tear stained cheeks and his curtains closed so no light would enter the room. Once again David was upset thinking about all the people he had lost. It was hard for Kevin to he hated seeing his son upset so he did everything in his power to make him feel better.

David put on a sad smile taking the tub of ice cream. Kevin knew his son wouldn't wanna talk so he pulled out his phone ready to pull up all his sons favorite videos. He pulled up the video 'jaden smith is a fraud' knowing it always made his son laugh. David watched the video letting out laughs every here and there while eating his ice cream.

Kevin felt happy seeing his son smile cause lord knows he's been through a lot. "Thanks dad" David says once the video went off. "Don't thank me it's my job" Kevin says and David smiles before placing his head on his dads shoulder watching more videos. Kevin pledged once he became a dad he would always be there for his son.

There was nothing or anyone who meant more to him then his son and he didn't care what happened or what lengths he would have to go through he would always be there when David needed him and that was a promise.
