The Day is Horrid

So that morning, Wendy decided to show me around the island start my training. She decided to take me to the capitol building. Then, the magic, mental, and physical training area. "Okay. So I will be your teacher in all this training. I am not an easy teacher, so get ready. Now, then. Go to those bicycles and sit on one. I'll be there in two minutes. I must go to the capitol building and make sure that Carla has started with Scarlet's training." She left me there dumbfounded. That bicycle Wendy had been talking about wasn't even there. either way, I started walking toward where she had pointed.

Wendy shows up after around five minutes looking out of breath and slightly panicked. "Skyler... Hurry. Capital building. Must talk to Carla. Will train later. Leave. Quest. New Wish coming. Must go pick up. Bye."

Well, that was odd. I thought to myself.

After getting over my shock, I decided to go exploring myself, but it ended up as Scarlet and I bumping into each other. "Pardon me, miss. I just need to see my fr-! Why hello , Skyler. Did you just find your sister running away from you? 'Cuz mine just did."

"Yeah.. I was about to ask you the same thing."

"Okay, then. Would you like to explore this island together?"

"Of course."

So we went around and explored the island. We saw almost all the buildings, and overall had a lot of fun. We also ate food that we like, which happened to be Mexican pizza. "Mmmmmm. Skyler, try these pizzas. They taste like heaven."

"Really, Scarlet. We should get going. I'm sure Wendy and Carla will want us to meet that newly found Wish that arrived."

And so we rushed to the capital building and then ran inside, breathless. Then, we did not wait for permission from the front desk. We barged into their room and heard them. "But Wendy, we can't!"

"Why not? We need to find out. I contacted Mom yesterday and that did not-"

"Wendy, please. We tried doing that last time, remember. I hope you do. Because I cannot get another Wish of Telos to open the rout to our trainers. We lost more than half of our population, Wendy. Half. Not a mere third or so. Xavira was not happy last time. Besides, Telos is still busy with all the damage that the last war, judging all those people on where they stand with the others. So this is the best option. Scarlet, Skyler, Rain, you and I. Eve-"

"Carla. Don't you remember what happened some years ago?"

" Yes. We must avoid that at all cost."

"Good. Th-" We did not hear the rest because we had run all the way to my house, hurt and mystified. What were Wendy and Carla talking about? And who was Rain?
