What a night. You see, I just love having nightmares. I hope you catch the sarcasm. And waking up with my sister stroking my head. She had recently learned that stroking one's head is comforting. She was wrong. Does she not know that I hate it when people try to comfort me? Any how, I was jolted awake by an earthquake. Wendy just got up, grumbling, about who knows what. Then, I just decided to just get ready.
When I got outside, this is what I heard, "Stupid monsters. Why do they not let us alone for a day?" As you may have assumed, that was Wendy. Either way I was stuck eating breakfast on the go.

I was almost done and was about to say something wise like, "The weather's nice.." but Rain beat me to it. "Spill the beans, Skyler."

I sighed and began my dream, or what I could recount of it. I had asked them ti not ask any questions as I spoke. When I got to the part with Rossane, Wendy visibly paled. After I was done, my companion nearly fainted.

"I feel like I know this Rossane." said Wendy.

"Are you positive?" asked Scarlet. "I don't think that Rossane would be someone you know. First, she seems like she is as old as Skyler and I."

"I really feel like I know her."

At that point, all three of us knew that Wendy was hiding something, but we did not show it. Then, per usual, we fell into two groups. I was stuck with Rain. He was just being annoying by talking of "Bitter butter that Betty brought."

"Would you BE QUIET?"

"Nope." Then he zoned out.

After a while of silence, Rain spoke again. "My mother..." he gasped, as if chocking on his own spit. "Mother.. is... Orama... She.... in... trouble..." Then he started coughing uncontrollably and got down on his knees. By this time, Wendy and Scarlet had rushed over and had started to thump his back. I followed suit. Then, as suddenly as this had come, it was gone and Rain sprang to his feet.

"What happened?" he asked. Then, "Why are all of you looking at me as if I am something funny?"

Unsurprisingly, Wendy was the one to answer. "Orama... she hardly ever Wishes anyone. You must have had some surprising ability in your life-before-birth. Orama is also the Dragon of Visions. Impressive. Anyway, let's get going."

And so we were off. The grass below us had turned a sickly yellow, like the one used in bricks. I started humming the piano part to "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" from The Wizard of Oz. Scarlet got the hint and started singing along. Eventually, we had our own little chorus going.

After we were done, Wendy just had to ask me this: "Skyler, would you like to play the piano again tonight?"

I suddenly stiffened and said, "Why ask? I'm out of practice. Reason being I spent too many hours up in those tents is because I was trying to close up all the places that I was hurt. So, no. Try to get me to run around like I used to before."

"Skyler, you don't understand. Carla and I did what we did for a reason. But I-"

"Pfft. Just tell me where the piano is kept in that magic locker of yours."

Wendy sighed. "Of course. The piano is kept in the Congreve vault. I hope you remember how to access them?"

"Yes. And our family has a vault?"

"Of course. Our family is one of the well known ones. In fact, some of our ancestors used to work for Panta."

Then, Scarlet said, "I hate to interrupt the family exchange, but I think we should stop and sleep now. Besides, my feet are dead." Then she saw us looking. "Well, not literally."

The camp we set up was the best in days. We even persuaded Wendy to buy us marshmallows and crackers. The night felt like a real camping trip. I was happily sitting and eating my s'mores when suddenly Carla's spirit appeared in the fire. Wendy looked as if this happened everyday, while Rain fell backward and lit his own butt on fire. Then he ran around screaming like he was Tom from Tom and Jerry. Anyway, Carla took Wendy's wrist and led her a distance from where Scarlet and I were sitting. It was slightly unnerving because we could not hear them and they were just a few feet away.

Rain had calmed down from his rampage and was now looking anxiously at Scarlet and I.

He said, "What's up with the two of you? You keep so quiet now-a-days. I know that the two of you used to talk nonstop back before this whole mess started."

I stared at him in shock. "How in OZ do you know that?"

"Must be a Orama thing."

"Anyway," Scarlet said. "Let's not worry Wendy today and just sleep like nice little angles."

All of us looked over at Wendy and Carla. Carla seemed to be talking and Wendy looked ready to faint.

"Something is off about the two." said Rain.

"I know. But let's just sleep. I'll ask her tomorrow morning. Hopefully we will train." I said and picked a tent to sleep in. Scarlet crawled in next to me.

"Just like old times?" I asked.

"Just like old times." She confirmed.

I smirked. "Five minutes until go-time."

Scarlet looked at me with her green eyes, now full of mischief. "Five. I think the duo is done with their talk." Then she looked at me and nodded. "Let's run."

So we ran. We ran almost as fast as a car driving at 25 mph. The wind was flying in my hair and I felt truly wonderful. After running like that for half an hour, we turned back and jogged to camp. Now I was truly exhausted and stepped up to the highest point there was.

"Too bad we do not have a piano," Scarlet said.

"No.. It is not to bad. I'll just get one." I summoned one and smiled at Scarlet. "What song?"

Now Scarlet was almost crying. "'Happy' Pharrell Williams?"

"Of course."

The rest of the night we spent alternating turns at the piano and singing, since we could not find a violin. When it was almost dawn, the two of us went back to our tents and slept there.

After what felt like a second, Wendy and Rain threw some freezing water on us. They looked like mad scientists gone mad. Then Wendy said, "I have some news."
