CONFESSING THEIR AMAZING LOVE

3rd person pov:

It had been exactly one month since Kirk came out. His friends decided to celebrate with a sleepover (as if they didn't have sleepovers every single night), though they deemed this one exceptionally special. Kirk did end up coming out to his parents a few days after he came out to his friends. His mother accepted him because she claimed that there was "no point in trying to change who he choses to be," and as his mother, she was designed to love him unconditionally.

However, despite the fact that tonight was supposed to be wondrously exuberating and carefree, Kirk was quite nervous. He had decided that tonight he would confess his feelings for Lars.

Kirk had liked Lars since before he came out to anyone. He thought it to be the reason he had ever started questioning his sexuality. And, at this point, he couldn't hide his feelings for much longer. Him and Lars had practically been attached at the hip for the last few weeks, but it did make sense to Kirk why. Lars probably felt excited to not be the only gay one in the group. He had opened up to Kirk a few times, telling him about how at first he felt different than everybody else until Kirk came out too.

Y/n had been encouraging Kirk to tell Lars how he felt since he told her that he liked him. Kirk told y/n everything, but so did everybody else. She was just easy to talk to, and a great listener. She was probably the reason that they never got into big fights, and they had been friends since their freshmen year. It was crazy to think about how they had all been friends for over four years. They had just graduated two months ago. They all still felt like kids, but the six were all 18 years old now, which was crazy to think about.

Kirk's pov:

I decided to text Ash. I was pretty nervous. I didn't know how to tell Lars how I felt. I reached for my phone, which was beside me on my bed.

 i need help

k, what's up kirkito?

so you know how i want to tell lars...the thing tonight?

yeah

i'm so fucking scared i feel nauseous just thinking about it. i don't even know how to say it.

are you sure you're ready? you don't have to tell him if you aren't

i am ready. i have been. i can't wait any longer.

okay. do you want me to come over so you can talk about it?

can i just come to yours instead? i'll be there tonight anyways.

sure, wanna meet halfway?

yes please

okay, see you in a few. i love you<3

i love you too!!

I put my phone into my back pocket and got ready to leave. I walked into the kitchen, where my mom was making lunch.

"Mom, I'm gonna go to Ash's house a little early," I told her.

"Okay, Kirk. Be safe," she replied. I walked out the door and locked it behind me. I began walking down the street towards the stop sign that was halfway between me and Ash's house. After about a minute, I reached the sign. She was already there waiting for me.

"Hey Kirkito," she said.

"Hey Ash" I responded. It was a bit of a colder day, and it was really windy. We walked towards her house, which wasn't too far. Me, her, Cliff, James, Corinne, and Lars all lived in the same neighborhood, which was very convenient, seeing as we hung out constantly.
