After Game 1 of the Warriors vs Nuggets a couple weeks, a curious reporter by the name of Kerosene Carson picked up the mic and started an interview with the Rookie Shooting Guard, Jordan Poole.
On his first ever playoff game, Poole scored a career-high of 30 points, listing him as the 3rd Warrior of All-Time to do so. Since being picked 28 in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft, Poole was sent to the Santa Cruz Warriors in late 2021. He felt like he didn't need to be sent down to the G-League, but persevered through it anyway.
As Poole told Andre Iguodala and Evan Turner on the "Point Forward" podcast, his mentality shifted. After embracing the opportunity for playing time and to take on a leadership role on the Santa Cruz Warriors, Poole came back to the NBA for his third season a totally different, much-improved player.
It's paying dividends as the 22-year-old is one of the reasons why the Warriors entered Thursday one win away from reaching the 3rd game of Western Semi-Finals against the Memphis Grizzlies.
With him being an extensive role player for the most favored team to win it all, it is greatly disappointing as we see how his love life has been affecting his game. Twitter has been going crazy over his obsession with reporter, Kerosene Carson of Bleacher Report, and it is so ever being thrown in fans faces every time the camera turns on.
The two met after she interviewed him on his breakout Playoff Debut, replacing Taylor Rooks whom interviewed Steph Curry instead. During the interview, Poole couldn't seem to keep his eyes to himself, staring everywhere the sun could see. The whole interview consisted of her rapid questions and his short answers. Ever since that day, she has been the one to interview the star man after every game.
After Game 4 of the series, I, a journalist by the name of Israel Baldwin of Fox Sports, asked him what his familiarity to the girl was. He shot a quick smile & seemingly said;
