love is real
but i seem to be finding it
in every place i shouldn't
it makes me feel so alone
and love isn't supposed to
feel lonely
still, i sit here
with a heart full of love
and a head full of dread
because i shouldn't love you
and even though we recognize
that habits like mine
need to die
that doesn't mean we know how to
keep them dead
