In nandini's college the prom was going on and Manik looked at nandini and sighed helplessly as he wanted to dance with her but couldn't as he was her professor.
He looked at his nandini who smiled making his heart calm as she understood his situation.

As he watched her dance with her classmates, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and possessiveness.

Somehow manik controlled his feelings and the party continued when suddenly the spotlight fell on Nandini.

Manik was about to go towards her when the projector got on and nandini and maniks kissing photos were displayed.

Manik and nandini with their friends were shocked as no one from the college knew about manik and nandini being married.

Everyone started commenting on nandinis character making tears form in her eyes Manik quickly moved towards nandini and wrapped his arms around her protectively, glaring at anyone who dared to say anything negative about her.

Manik said and took nandini in his arms who was crying silently and walked towards their car while gesturing veer and adi to handle the matter
As they drove back home, Nandini was still crying, the harsh words of the students ringing in her ears.
Manik's heart broke seeing her like this.

You're the most precious thing in my life and I won't let anyone hurt you,'' he said, his voice full of love and determination.

Nandini looked at him with tear-filled eyes, feeling grateful to have a husband like him.

''I love you, Manik,'' she said, leaning in to kiss him.
Manik looked shock as it was the first first she confessed.

Manik kissed her back with all the love and passion he had, their lips moving against each other

''I love you too, Nandini.
More than anything in this world,'' he said, his voice filled with emotion.

He leaned in to kiss her again, his lips meeting hers with a passion that left her breathless.

As they pulled back, nandini said, Manik do you know that why did I agree when you asked for a contract marriage?

Manik nodded in no while nandini continued Manik when I was in college with avi we became friends with a tarun and Maya.

We already knew Maya as she was our schoolmate We four used to hang out together and eventually me and Tarun, I became close and used to be together as our subjects were same but tarun started loving me but I always considered him as my best friend.

Then bhai bhabhi and veer avi came and took me from there but you know what's worst thing When i reached home maya was already present there and had told my family about the incident making it show like i was seducing tarun.

Nandini said while crying Manik hugged her tightly, holding her until all the tears were gone.

I know nandini what ever happened in past cant be changed but i promise you that ill always be with you no matter what happens.

I wont let anyone or anything come between us and ill protect you forever, till the last breath of my life Nandini smiled at him and said I love you Manik and she kissed him lovingly

In malhotra mansion
Shayara along with fab 4 were discussing a plan to separate manan.
