I got hit by a van recently whilst picking up my mums birthday presents on my motorbike and I've been recovering.

SAKURA'S EYE TWITCHED AT the old geezer in front of her —he reeks of alcohol! — she scrunched her nose slightly. "I'm Tazuna, master bridge builder." The man introduced himself before ordering they keep him safe and protect him with their lives.

Sakura blinked before clenching her fists in annoyance. Suddenly, a thought popped into her head. 'Why would we need to sacrifice our lives for Tazuna if the mission is a C-Rank..?' She thought, narrowing her eyes at him.

"Meet at the gate in 30." Kakashi ordered before disappearing in a swirl of leaves. Sakura raised an eyebrow, before leaving the room with her boys.

"That's weird." Sakura murmured to herself, watching Tazuna strut ahead of them.

"What's up, Sakura-chan?" Naruto asked, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion.

"It's just.." Sakura looked down.

..I dont want them to think I'm lying or being too paranoid.

"It's nothing." The lie rolled off her tongue.

Sasuke narrowed his eyes at her but they all left the Hokage tower.

Sakura packed up her stuff as quick as she could before running towards the gate.

Tazuna was drinking water given to him by Kakashi — thank god — whilst Naruto and Sasuke bickered loudly.

The weights on her body felt heavier as she realised she had to deal with all four of these men — and two boys — whilst on this mission.

She could feel the dread sinking in.

A hand was placed on her pink hair, making her blink and look up.

Kakashi gave her his famous eye smile. Sakura didn't feel any less annoyed.

Why is it always two shinobi one kunoichi to a team? Sakura mentally rolled her eyes. She just wanted a girlfriend.

"Took you long enough pinky." Tazuna grumbled, messing around with his sake bottle.

I'm gonna throw that sake bottle at his head, SHANNARO!

She felt Kakashi move his hand from her head to her shoulder, tightening his hood slightly.

"I'd like for you to refrain from talking to my student like that, Mr Tazuna. Of course, we are here to get you home alive. But we never said uninjured did we?" Kakashi said, giving Tazuna an eye smile which promised pain.

Sakura felt his heart twist in awe at the sheer strength radiating from her teacher. Tazuna shivered and nodded.

"F-fine! Let's go!" Tazuna scoffed, turning on his heel and speed walking away. Sasuke and Naruto following after him.

Sakura sighed.
