Anya stayed with Bond in the living room while Franky paced the floor. He had called the number on the babysitter flyer after Anya had absolutely insisted that she have a girl babysitter this time. The man's thoughts were racing at a speed that made Anya dizzy whenever she tried to read them. It seemed like scruffy-head couldn't decide on what to worry about the most, Twilight finding out he left a kid with a stranger, the girl at the café, or whether or not this babysitter was hotter than the girl at the café. Anya held onto her white dog for support, watching Franky walk back and forth and back and forth and back and forth.

The doorbell rang and the man almost fell over as he ran over to the door, opening it wide. There stood the girl that Anya saw Bond's vision. This girl would keep her safe.

She had short brown hair and was wearing a very pretty pink outfit, a small pink handbag held in her hands in front of her. Anya wasn't sure how this girl would save her and Papa, but it was worth a try.

"Hello, my name is Kugisaki Nobara. You called for a babysitter?" The girl said. Franky shuffled awkwardly.

"Y-yes. This is Anya, uh, my daughter. If you could please watch over her today, I'll have your payment, uh, tonight," Franky stammered, his face turning red as the unpracticed lies poured out of his mouth. He was an absolutely terrible liar.

"Of course, thank you so much. Is there anything that I should know about your daughter for tonight?" Nobara asked, glancing down at the little girl with pink hair. Anya suddenly felt very shy under her gaze, sliding behind Bond and peeking from behind his giant mass of white fur.

"Just feed her and stuff. Oh and don't go into Twi–I mean my room." Franky said, already inching out of the door. Nobara politely smiled and watched as the scruffy-haired man bolted down the stairs. Once he was out of sight, Nobara kneeled down from the doorway, looking over at Anya with a smile.

"Would you like to go out today, Anya? We can go wherever you would like," She offered, holding out a hand. Anya hesitated, peering into the girl's mind.

"This outfit should see the light of day. Maybe I'll get discovered by a model agency because of how cute I look today!"

Anya pouted, a little disappointed with how seemingly boring this Nobara-girl was. She didn't really know what she had been expecting but with her papa being a spy, her mother being an assassin, and that boy is a wizard...a normal babysitter seemed less than ideal. She did suppose going out would be better than staying here in case the building were to explode.

"Okay. Park please," She said, sliding away from Bond. The dog nudged her encouragingly towards her new babysitter.

And off they went, Nobara holding onto Anya's hand as they walked down the sidewalk, others passing them by and giving small smiles or waves to Anya. Nobara's eyes twitched as she thought to herself how her cuteness was being overlooked due to Anya. The telepath smiled to herself, maybe a little too smugly.

"Are you sure you want to go to the park instead of shopping for new clothes?" Nobara asked, obviously eyeing certain department stores as they passed by.

"Park," Anya responded simply. Nobara grumbled to herself and was pulled along as she tried to memorize each store along this strip. Anya didn't really see the appeal. She had tried to go shopping with her friend Becky but mostly found that it was more fun hanging out with her than buying clothes. And so far, it wasn't very fun hanging out with her new babysitter.

As they continued, the crowd began to grow around the stores and Anya's walking began to slow as her mind became overwhelmed with the strong thoughts of the other adults around her. It was around lunchtime, so people were swarming out of their office buildings and towards the tiny shops and cafés during their short bout of freedom. Anya could feel herself being drowned under the ocean of thoughts as they flooded in.
