I jolt up from my dream. "Ah, another nightmare," i think to myself. I slowly make my way out of bed, because im getting hungry. As i am contemplating going downstairs i hear a knock at the door. "Is it SOMETHING again? Hopefully not," i slowly walk downstairs, squeezing my eyes shut and feeling my way around the stairs. I cant let the memories get to me. Once i am downstairs i hesitantly open the door. "...sunny?" I hear. I open my eyes to see Kel, my old friend. "SUNNY!!" He exclaims, jumping onto me in a hug. "Ive missed you so much! How are you doing?" He gets off me and smiles his bright smile. "uhmm, good..." i mutter. "So.. do you wanna come outside with me? Pleaseee?" He begged. Uhh, mm i guess.." i say. "YAYY!!" He shouts, grabbing my arm and dragging me outside. " Kel.. i need shoes.." "oh, sorry heh" he says as i run inside to get shoes. I follow Kel on a walk around the neighborhood. Hes blabbing on about basketball and hector. We make it to the park and see Aubrey and her goons. "Oh, theres Aubrey, shes changed a lot." Kel says. "s-sunny?" Aubrey makes out, running over to me. "Woah its really you! Why'd ya come outta your hole?" She said, "Heh, i dragged him here!! Kel to the rescuse!" Kel shouts, Aubrey scoffs and smacks my back. "uh, nice to see you sunny." "n-nice to see you too, Aubs" i mutter "Welp! Whatcha wanna do?" Kel says, spinning his basketball on his finger. "I have stuff to do, so you losers are on your own" Aubrey spits, walking off with her friends "Okayy, so whatcha wanna do Sunny?" i stared at the ground. "hmm, ah, K-Kel-" my stomach growled really loudly. "Woah! Are you hungry Sun?" I nod, thinking about the steak i was gonna eat at home. "Lets head to my house, j bet Hero will whip you up somthin!" Kel grabs my hand and skips to their house. We open the door and walk inside, "Hey Hero!! I brought Sunny over for lunch!" Hero turns away from the stove which he was making something at and look in our direction. "Sunny!!" He says, turning down the stove and walking over to us. "Kel's been knocking at your door for days now trying to get you out! Glad you finally came!" I must have been sleeping, oops. "s-sorry Kel, you shouldnt have came for me.." i say, "Its no problem! As long as your here now!" Kel nudges me. "Well, do you boys want lunch?" Hero asks, "Aw yes!!" Kel shouts.

lunch was pretty good, we had grilled chese that Hero made for us (obviously) and then headed off. " Where do you want to go now?" Asked Kel. before I could answer he shouted, " I know we should go to Basil's house!" And we set off for Basil's. To be honest i didnt really want to go, our relationship has been awkward since the incident. Once we got there Kel knocked on the door, after some fumbling around somebody finally answered the door, Basil stood there, a pink flower in his blonde hair. "oh- w-wha? SUNNY?" He said running up to me. "oh sunny! Ive missed you so much!" He said, embracing me in a warm hug. "hello Basil.." i stutter. "Come on in you guys!" Basil motioned us inside his home. We sat on the couch in silence, "h-hey uh sunny? Can i talk to you for a second?" Basil said looking at me. I looked at Kel, trying to show him that i wasn't comfortable. "Why dont i come aswell?" Kel asked, picking up my queue. "n-no thanks Kel, its kind of private." Basil said, staring at me more intensely. "okay" i muttered, standing up and walking with Basil to his room. Basil sort of pushed me inside and locked the door. "SUNNY! oh ive missed you!" He jumped on top of me, pushing me onto his bed. "h-hey Basil.." i say, he looks down at me, his turquoise eyes turning a shade of crimson. "w-why did you leave me? I was all a-alone for FOUR YEARS SUNNY!!" "I-im sorry Basil-" "NO! sorrys not enough! We have to make up all the lost time! Lets start now, we can go to the park and have picnics and go to the beach and OH!-" "um, Basil, i have something to tell you.." i stutter, Basil looked back down at me with his piercing eyes. "What is it Sunny?" He said in a slightly creepy voice. "Basil, im .. moving. Like away from faraway." "Huh? What? Oh er its okay! We can just do everything now! So like a year? In a few months?" Basil said shakily. "Im leaving in 3 days Basil." Basil looked at me to see if i was being serious. "s-sunny, this isnt funny, i i i NO! I CANT LIVE WITHOUT YOU, Y-YOU JUST CAME BACK!!" Basil shouted letting go if me and grabbing his hair. "DONT LEAVE ME SUNNY, NO NOT AGAIN.!" he collapsed on the floor in tears. "Basil, I-" "SHUT UP! SHUT UP SUNNY!! YOUR LEAVING ME!! I NEED YOU HERE!! EVERYONE ALWAYS LEAVES ME LIKE THIS!!" He screams at me. I back up to the door and frantically try and unlock it. As im turned around i hear a terrifying voice in my ear, "sunny~ w-where do you think your going?" I feel Basil's hot breath on my neck. Be grabs my waist and pulls it onto his. "your not leaving me are you?~" he whispers. I love cant talk nor breathe. whats wrong with him? Is he crazy? He pulls my hand away from the door and intertwines our fingers. "good~ because i dont want you leaving anytime soon sunny~" I feel sick. What do I do? I turn around quick and kick his ankles, sweeping his up and making his loose his balance. I unlocked the door as he fell to the ground and bolted down to Kel. "oh! Hey sunny! Whats up-" i hid behind him and pulled as away from Basil's room. "Woah! What happened? Are you okay?" He said. I finally realized that i was grabbing onto his back and pretty close to his face. "Wow he smell really good.." I thought. WHAT AM I THINKING NO HE DOESNT UGHH. I pull away from him slowly, my face bright red. "Sunny! Are you okay?" We suddenly heard Basil coming out of his room. "Oh! There you are sunny!" Basil says, walking over to us. "Basil, what happened in there." Kel said, sounding very serious. "Oh, nothing~" Basil said, trying to sound innocent. "Well something obviously happened that your not telling me." Kel took my hand and started for the door. "W-wait! Don't go!" Basil yelled. "We gotta go Basil. See you later." Kel stormed out of Basil's house. I nuzzled my head into Kel's shirt, trying to hide my blush from before. "Woah, you okay sunny? Please tell me what happened in there." "Its really nothing Kel, I just uh, overrated that all." I say, trying to sound believable. "Well i want you to come to my house. We can hang out just us for a bit." "O-okay Kel" i say.

We arrive at Kel's house and go straight upstairs. I sit down on his bed. I start to cry , just letting out all my feelings. I feel a warm body next to me and a arm pulls me closer. "Sunny. Please tell me whats wrong" Kel whispers in my ear. "Can- can we just go to sleep?" I say. "Sleep? Uh, okay? Why not" Kel says. I lay down on his bed, and curl up like a cat on one end. Kel pulls me closer to his and spoons me. I snuggle into his chest. I feel so, safe here. Like nothing can get to me. I easily drift off into Kels scent and for once in 4 years, had a good nights sleep.
