The group was a centimeter close to completing their choreography training. For many hours they have been fixing their mistakes and learning new styles in dancing. Namjoon was the only one who knew the dance format by heart. Everyone else was still figuring out the concept.
"How are we not done yet?" Yoongi asked in exhaustion, breathing rapidly and sweat trailing down on his neck. The dancing ceased and all the males stared at him.
"We would have been done by now if we understood the moves better," Jungkook announced loudly, sounding out of breath. Yoongi groaned underneath his mumbling voice, rolling his eyes softly.
"Maybe we should just quit for the night. It is late and our minds are too exhausted to comprehend more information," Namjoon explained to the group of males. They all smiled and Hoseok silenced the music on the loud speakers. Everyone was excited to no longer work their poor bodies, aching like hell. Even some of the members just collapsed onto the wooden floor and stayed down. Jungkook walked over to a bench in the corner, containing his belongings. He grabbed his bottle of room temperature water and drank gradually. He desired to drive back home and do nothing, just rest.
Damn spot! He got just what he wished for. Stay home and do absolutely nothing until the next morning. He was not the only member to fall asleep in the most awkward spaces. Jimin and Taehyung were practically stacked on top of each other. As if they were a pile of large rocks in the wilderness. Jungkook went up to his dorm and plopped right onto the bed. He did not move a muscle. He was too tired and weak to do any more activity. Even if he tried to move, his body would not allow him to do so.
Only four hours had past before Jungkook was awaken to the sound of shouting and laughter. What the hell was going on?
He raised out of bed more loopy than a drunk man in a bar. He grinned as he walked down the stairs of their house and glanced around. No one was in the room. Hell, it was dead silent. The shouts, laughter, and screaming were coming from outside. Out of all the places on planet Earth, why must it be outside in the darkness? Jungkook trailed off to the door and the volume of the loud boys turned up to hundred percent, piercing his ears with pain. That was the reason for all the screaming and commotion—they were having a bonfire. Namjoon noticed Jungkook standing at the door with a blank facial expression. He stood up from his set and walked over to him.
"You finally decided to wake up?" he questioned Jungkook with a smile. He crossed his arms loosely and glared at the grass.
"Actually, all of you woke me up. I probably would have slept longer if I did not hear you guys yelling and laughing," he admitted to Namjoon. He chuckled to himself and nodded his head.
"Sorry. They are all acting like young children having fun. What did you expect?" Namjoon asked the sleepy boy. Jungkook paused and did not say a word for a moment. He only stared at him pondering over his question. Jungkook shrugged as his answer. That much drama for a smallass shrug? Unpredictable.
"What does that mean?" Namjoon wondered as the male stared at him.
"I mean, we all have our moments, I guess," he replied simply. Namjoon rolled his eyes and grabbed Jungkook's arm. "Hey, what are you doing?"
"Dragging you to the bonfire, what else would I be doing?"
"Forcing me to go near the fire," he answered him aggressively. Namjoon laughed and sat him down in a chair. He observed him carefully.
"Are you afraid of fire?" he asked and everyone ceased their voices. Jungkook's eyes widened in embarrassment as he felt the eyes of his members all glaring. Well, this is not going well.
"I am not afraid of fire, I just prefer not to be around it," he announced to everyone and did not make eye contact with anyone.
"Why? It is because it makes you hot?" said Jimin, giggling with Taehyung as they arm tackle each other. Everyone groaned underneath their breath, holding in their laughter and their screams.
"You are no fun, Jimin," Jungkook responsed to the unnecessary comment. Though he sounded threatening, Jimin smiled and shrugged, knowing he cannot hurt him, even if he tried. Namjoon sighed heavily and stared at the black starry sky.
"Well, you could at least look up at the stars, instead of the fire," Namjoon suggested to him. He glanced up at the sky, smiling.
"Yeah, sure, whatever," he said.
"Should we make the fire bigger?" Taehyung whispered into Seokjin's ear. He hissed and frowned.
"I do not think that is a bright idea, Tae," Seokjin's stated in a tone of worry as Taehyung shook his head the boy. He shrugged off his warnings and walks in front of the fire, where everyone was standing—not alerted. Taehyung threw in a fuckload of sticks, pine straw, and leaves. Yoongi stood up and whacked him in the back of his head and glared.
"Leaves make the fire smoke not grow, genius!" Yoongi shouted at Taehyung, causing everyone to stare at him. He crossed his arms and stood still and silent. Jungkook tried to back away from the fire, but trampled over his chair. His arm waved around near the bonfire, and burned his skin. Ahh!
"FUCK!" Jungkook screamed at the top of his lungs even the stray animals in the city could hear him. Yoongi and Taehyung watched Jungkook scream in pain with their jaws wide open.
"Oh, shit. You guys stay here, I'll be back," Namjoon announced as he gently grabbed Jungkook and guided him to the kitchen. Everyone else was yelling at Taehyung, mainly Yoongi.
"I guess that is why you do not like fire then?" Namjoon asked as he put ice in a plastic bag and grabbed some bandages from the bathroom. Jungkook winced in pain as he applied the bandages over the ice pack. He glanced at Namjoon and tried to sneak in a faint smile.
