A great cooking duo

That hellish noise coming from the alarm going off made me wake up and grunt as I was still in the mood to sleep more. I suddenly stood up from the bed remembering I had some issues to deal with for the whole day and got ready to head over the kitchen where Beel was already waiting for me. <<’Morning!>> A bright smile and a warm hand movement greeted me first thing in the morning and I couldn’t help but smile back at the sight of the ginger smiling and waving at me. Even if he was a demon, he didn’t seem to be like one because of how sweet he was, unlike his brothers who were troublesome. I soon reached the kitchen counter and grabbed my apron, ready to start cooking breakfast for everyone with Beelzebub’s help. I wasn’t really feeling anxious about cooking; it wasn’t the first I tried cooking but apart from that, I knew Beelzebub had great taste and not only that but he was good at it on his own.
Looking around, I grabbed a bowl and soon started pouring in it some ingredients to prepare pancakes, Levi and Belphie’ favourites. I was so sure of what I was doing but when I poured the dough in the pan, I suddenly remembered I forgot the main ingredient: sugar (//based on a real story btw) so I hurried and grabbed a spoon to add it in and mixed it with the other ingredients inside the bowl, hopefully they still tasted good enough for no one to notice my mistake.
While I was busy making pancakes, or whatever those things piled up on the plate over the table were, Beel was trying his best to bake a cake: he was only eating whatever he had on sight, instead of whipping the cream or preparing the cake itself. <<Beel, you’re supposed to bake the cake, not eat everything you have here…>> He always looked like a big baby; he must’ve liked cream so much to the point his eyes were that bright!

As soon as we were ready, we settled everything up for breakfast and waited for everyone to gather around the table to enjoy the first meal together. Not even the time to place each plate on each seat, that all the brothers were downstairs, ready to sit down and eat what we cooked earlier. Honestly, I was pretty satisfied with what I prepared and despite that little accident with sugar, I had to admit they tasted quite good. <<Oi!>> Levi’s voice echoed in the room. I turned around to see him looking at me and making sure to catch my attention so he could talk to me. <<Do you want to come over the afternoon and play some games with me?>> He asked to then blush in front of everyone. I was about to say ‘yes’ as I would’ve loved spending some time alone with him, we really didn’t get time for ourselves due to how frenetic my life had become lately but what stopped me was the sudden glare I received, or way better, felt burning on my skin, by Lucifer. I silently gulped remembering I had some business with Beelzebub for the whole day and sighed. <<I can’t today… let’s spend the day playing tomorrow, after school!>> I smiled nervously to finally see Lucifer smirk in an approval way. Everyone went back to eating their breakfast, even if Mammon was being a moron and Satan was getting mad over small things. ‘Usual stuff’, I thought. I shrugged and went back to reality.

‘What a hell of a day is going to be today’ I thought. After clearing the table, both me and Beel washed the dishes and the cutlery used during the first meal of the day. <<It’s not the right way.>> Someone’s voice brought me back to what I was doing. <<Sorry, what?>> I said shaking my head and looking in the direction where the sound of the voice came from. <<The dishes. You don’t wash them that way!>> Beelzebub pointed to the dishes I was holding. He came over to me and took them from my hands to then grab a sponge and the dish soap. <<Here, let me show you how to do it correctly!>> He leaned in and guided me with his hands. ‘I mean, come on, I know how to wash dishes, I’m not that dumb’ is what was bugging my mind while he was explaining a simple and easy action, yet I wasn’t able to do it correctly in front of him and made myself look like an idiot. He hugged me, grabbing my hips and causing me to gasp lightly and blush at the sudden touch from him. His soft skin stood in contrast with his muscly and manly figure. He posed his lips on my uncovered neck and left wet kisses all over it, making me shiver and distracting me from what I was trying to desperately do. His hands touched me all over the body, caressing it gently through the fabric of my clothes and apron I was wearing. I turned around to face him, both because I was kind of forced to and because his hands led me to it but the sound of someone’s steps interrupted us and, judging by the rhythm, I could tell it was Lucifer approaching us. Turning around to get back to what I was doing, the eldest of the brothers did get inside the kitchen and opened the fridge to get something from it. He collected few more things around and stopped by to check on me: his attentive sense of smell peered Beelzebub’s scent left on me as I noticed him sniffing me while I was washing the dishes. <<Great job…>> He grabbed a strand of my hair and played with it twirling it around his finger covered with his black gloves he used to hide his hands. <<…but stop fooling around with my brothers or you’ll face other consequences you might regret.>> His voice sounded more serious, deeper than the one he used to praise me. He let go the strand he was holding and got out of the room, probably smirking since I knew him too well. Letting out a long sigh, I finally got the chance to wash those damned dishes and clean the whole table dirty of every single ingredient we used. <<I think we’re done here, Beel!>> Showing up all my teeth, I smiled at the red-headed demon who was done cleaning as well and threw the dirty tissue I used earlier in the trash bin. He nodded and smiled as well, it seemed he forgot what happened before Lucifer barged in the room and that helped both me and him to finish what we started sooner.
