A few weeks later
Max POV
The last few months have been amazing, and confusing at the same time. For example: Me and El becoming a couple. We actully want to tell our friends that. And obviously, with that, also that we're both bi.
But, like, how? I mean we don't need to make a big deal out of it. And we don't need to tell ALL of our friends at the same time. Mabey we could tell Mike and Will first. Like, I know they'll be supportive. Beides the fact that Mike is gay (and Will probably too, it's obvious). I should ask El.
„Hey, I wanted to talk to you." I say. „Yeah, what's up?" El asks, a little scared. „I uh- I think I want to tell people about us." I say. El seems relifed, and then says:„Sure! Like we have been a couple for a while now, I think it's time to tell people." „Yeah thats what I thougt. Mabey we'll tell Mike and Will first? It makes the most sense " I suggest. She smiles and says:„Yeah how should we do it?" „I have an idea." I say.
The next day.
„Just act casual." I whisper to El. „Yeah, just a little nervous." She whispers back. „I know me too, but we can do this!" I whisper determent. To that El just nods.
We decided that we would meet up with Will and Mike – with us holding hands. I thougt it might be the best way because we don't actully need to tell them, but just show them. I take a deep breath and we walk together – hand in hand – in the restaurant.
We go to the table we reserved for us. I see Will and Mike already sitting at the table. Mike spots us and, as he sees us, his eyes fall on our hands, he seems a little surprised before looking at El and smiling. What the heck is going on?
Will then notices too and seems a little more shocked then Mike (probably because Mike already knew that El is bi and Will obviously dosen't). We sit down, and Will instantly looks at us with a look that says: 'Are you gona tell me or should I ask?' I chuckle a bit and then anounce: „El is my girlfriend!" „So you two are gay?" Will asks. „No, bi!" El says, in a more confident way then before. „Finally you two got together!" Mike says. I look at him and then at El confused. El smiles and says: „He knew I liked you before we got together." That explains why Mike smiled at El after seeing us hold hands.
We talk some more and explain. I knew that they would react good but, wow they were supportive! As it seemed Mike didn't tell Will he was gay, but it isn't any of my business. We have a great time and eat enjoying echothers company. „Did you tell Dustin or Lucas?" Will asks. „No, not yet but we're planning on." I say.
A few weeks later.
I'm alone with Dustin and Lucas and we're playing 'truth or dare' I see a opportunity so I say: „Truth." „Lame! Lucas says. But Dustin (who asked me) asks: „Are you in a relashonship, if yes with who?" Lucas looks at him. He and I broke up a while ago but since then we got our friendship back to how it was again. But I guess it would be awkard to talk about relashonships with him.
Nevertheless I say: „Yes. With El." They both look at me, as if they were waiting that I say: 'just kidding!' I break the silence with: „I'm bi. She's bi. We're a couple. And I hope that that's not an issue." I say the last sentence like a question. They're silence makes me scared. What if... there homophobic? I hope not. My face must have looked paniced, because Dustin says: „Uh, sorry! We support you! Right Lucas?" He punches Lucas in the arm. „Ow!", Lucas whisper screams. „But yes, we support you, I was just... processing."
What a relief! And then they bombarded me with questions.v
„How long have you known that you are bi?"-L
„Like- half a year now?"-M
„How long were you and El together?"-D
„Two months"-M
„How did you find out?" -D
„Uh, I dunno, just- kind of found
out." -M
„Do Will and Mike know?"-L
I chuckle a little and then nod. They asked the same question as Will and Mike.
I sigh in relife. „I was so nervous" I say with a reliefed chuckle. Now I've told all my friends. I mean I probably should tell my family, but thats something for later.
