TIME LAPS TO OUTSIDE OF HOGWARTS GOING TO HOGSMEADE!!

I was chatting with Marlene and Alice outside the gates talking about Em's new date: the Ravenclaw prefect!!

I was upset she couldn't come with us but oh well what was I supposed to do about it!!
All of sudden, I heard
"Hey Evans! Glad you could make it!"
The weird thing was that Black was saying that and Potter was acting shy and silent.
Not walking his usual strut, he was walking a clumsy walk.

I pulled Remus away, he was the only Marauder I could tolerate most of the time, and whispered to him,

"What's up with Potter?
Why is he acting so strange??"

"Well..." Remus started
I motioned for him to continue.
"He is really nervous this is his first 'date' with you, even if it's in a big group and not really a date. "

I don't know why but I felt a tad sad for Potter, sure he was cocky and arrogant but he ruffled his hair in this adorable way, the cute way he bit his lip when he was nervous, his adorable hazel eyes, I could go on forever!
That's when Remus' eyes grew wide as he saw me looking at Potter with a longing/debating look on my face.

"You like him!" He whisper yelled.

"I... I don't... l...like-"
But he cut me off and gave me a knowing sort of look and said
"I know you do. You don't have to hide it from me. I won't tell a soul!"

I hesitated before giving him a hug and saying
"Thanks Remy! You're the best!"

And with that he pushed me over in James' general vicinity.
"Hii J-James."
I stammered.
His eyes grew almost as wide as Sirius' who was trying to casually look like he was not listening intently to our conversation.

"You called me James!"
Potter said in shock.
I nodded and replied with a small smile saying,
"That's your name isn't it?"
He looked up at me with disbelief but smiled a small smile that was not his usual cocky one but a nice sensitive one.
I looked around for Marlene but she was no where to be found and neither was anyone else.

Weird.

James seemed to figure out what happened and said,
"Evans, I didn't tell them to leave the-"
I cut him off,
"Don't be sorry, it's fine!" I smiled at him.

"Ok. Shall we head out malady?" he asked mockingly bowing
"Of course my dear sir. " I laughed with my reply.

We talked and laughed the whole way down to the center of Hogsmeade and into the Three Broomsticks where James insisted on paying.

Finally I gave up trying to persuade him and found us a table. As we sipped our butterbeer I decided it was time to tell him.
"James. " I started.
"I am really sorry I haven't said yes to one of you constant asking if going to Hogsmeade before. This is really fun, even if we are just here as friends. If I knew how much fun I was going to have I would have said yes sooner. "

He grinned widely and then spoke with,

"Since you liked this 'date', shall we call, it how 'bout we make a bet. "
