End of an Era

He has a crush!

First off, I wanted to say thank you all sooo much for 1.1k! It means a lot ❤️
Also, I wanted to tell you that this chapter is going to be longer then my other chapters!! By the way, sorry for the crappy chapter before this 😁
Finally, the edit that is in the picture spot is actually an edit I created!

Now, time for the story!

James
I woke up to a pair of shinning green eyes.
"Hello Lils." I smiled at my gorgeous girlfriend.
She moaned in return.
I gave her a questioning look and asked "What?"

She blushed and mumbled, "Your morning voice is very sexy."
"Oh, is it?" I smirked.
She nodded and snuggled into me.
"Why are you up at 4-" I checked my clock, "- :46 am?"
I actually wanted to know but it was a bonus to see the flash of a smitten look cross over Lily's face when I spoke.
"I couldn't sleep so-"
I cut her off, "So you decided to come into your very sexy, shirtless boyfriend's bed?"

"Sure, why don't we go with that. And yes James, I did notice you had your shirt off as soon as I came into the bed, and yes, your abs look the same as yesterday when you asked me-  a very nice rock hard, six pack. " She finished casually noticing my mouth opening and closing at certain times.
"But did you see my back muscles?" I questioned, turning around and smirking knowing that Lily loves them.

"Course I did, you prat." She responded in a misty voice stroking my back.
"It's 5:15. Mum and Dad have been up for a half hour, wanna go down to breakfast?" I asked turning to face Lily again.
"I would love to but first let me get changed."
"Why would you need to get changed?" I asked racking my brain for an answer.
She pointed at her clothes and I realized why.
She had on a tight fitting tank top and tiny leggings.
"You look hot!" I blurted out
She laughed as I grew red.
"You're too cute for your own good, Jamie. Too cute."
"Yeah, J-Money too cute!" Someone mocked  from the door frame.

"Hey Johnny." Lils spoke.
"I should have known it was you who was eavesdropping on me and my Lilypad!" I exclaimed. Lily laughed in leant forward to whisper something in my ear.

Johnny's PoV

I came out of my room around 5:15 am cause I couldn't sleep. I was too excited cause it was Christmas Eve. I was heading downstairs when I heard James say 'you look hot!' and then the laugh of the gorgeous angel that was James' girlfriend.
I sighed as I looked into the door preparing to see the love of my life flirting with my brother!
I still don't understand how she fell for him! I haven't told a single soul that I liked Lily Evans.

Everyone in this house would beat me up if I told them!

"You're too cute for you're own good, Jamie. Too cute." That was Lily.
I decided to let them know I was there so I said, "Yeah, J-Money, too cute." I knew using the old nickname I had for him would set him off. But I didn't know that it would just lead to making me jealous for the second time this morning, the first being that a very giggly Lily was-and still is- on top of a smirking shirtless James.

"Hey Johnny." Lily spoke bringing me out of dreamland.

"I should have known it was you who was eavesdropping on me and my Lilypad!" James exclaimed angrily.
My heart sank. He had said 'my Lilypad' speaking in his tense. Lily laughed and got closer to James to whisper something in his ear.
'Great.' I thought 'She is probably telling him something inappropriate she would like to do to him'
And my guess came true when James blushed violently and Lily kissed him on the cheek.

"Hey J-man" James fired back to me using his old nickname for me. "Go away Lils and I have to get changed." He finished with a wink towards Lily.

She playfully hit him and rolled her eyes saying, "James! There are minors in the room!"
"First off," I started. "Eww on so many levels James. Second, if it wasn't Christmas Eve I would be telling Mum what you said, yes I know all you couples are allowed to sleep together without any funny business like what's going on here! And finally Lily, I turn 17 a week after James turns 18, which is two weeks after your's."

"I know, Johnnycake, I go after older women." James exclaimed with his signature eyebrow wiggle. Lily shoved him, got up and came over to where I was standing and said, "Goodbye, John!" And shut the door in my face.

I could here something along the lines of "You know Lils, he has a major crush on you, but your mine!" And Lily's soft playful laughter.
Oh brother, now she knows!

I huffed and stomped down the stairs and all the way into the kitchen.

James's PoV
(What Lily whispered to James was 'you called me your Lilypad. That's sooo sweet.' Also this is picking up right when Lily gets up to shut the door.)

"You know Lils, he has a major crush on you, but your mine!"
She laughed and leaned in to give me a kiss.
"I got to go and get changed James, see you in a few minutes." She left and
I flopped onto my bed thinking of my gorgeous girlfriend.

'I thin- scratch that, I know I love her.'
I sighed and sat up pulling my t-shirt over my head and walking out of my room to wake up Sirius and Remus; knowing Lily would also be waking up Marlene and Alice.
I sighed and ducked as Padfoot chucked a pillow at my head followed by a string of curse words.
As we walked down the stairs to the kitchen, I could make out Sirius' mumbles. Partially. "Bloody sodding git. Waking me up so early. Dhhsjsjssaj"

We made it to the table where the delicious smells we smelt upstairs, were coming from.
The girls were already seated so we sat down and tucked in ready to eat the amazing breakfast my Mum cooked up.

"Thanks Mum!" Sirius and I exclaimed.
"Of course, boys."
I sat down in between Lily and Johnny- earning a glare from him- and across from Pads. Next to him was Moony and on the other side was Marlene, then Alice, who was sitting next to Lils.
We all wolfed down our food ( Remus more so then the others) and cleared out dishes in a matter of minutes  from the excitement of it being Christmas Eve.

------ TIME JUMP TO RIGHT BEFORE BED-----------

"Goodnight Lils." I kissed her and headed towards my bedroom.
As soon as my head it the pillow I fell into a deep sleep; dreaming of Christmas Day presents. What fun!
