SaneGiyuu: Wind and Water don't get along

PART 9: OHAGI AND FRIENDSHIP

"Will you be my friend?"
Giyuu looks at Sanemi with trust.

What the fuck!? Why does Tomioka want to be friends with me? What should I say??.... Ughhh
Remember! How uninterested he was in the meeting with Oyakata-sama!
And, and now he wants to be my friend. Spending time with him wasn't as bad as I thought, but what do I answer....?

"I....."
"I-I"
Sanemi hesitates to answer Giyuu.

With the amount of pressure on Sanemi, he recalls all the memories with Giyuu...
How Giyuu's fighting skills on the train were fantastic...How his face at night on the train was beautiful.
How Giyuu mentioned Sanemi to be his friend to the girl.

Sanemi's mind:
Maybe being friends with Giyuu is not so bad...

"F-Fine! I-I'll be your friend!" Sanemi accepts Giyuu.

Giyuu gets shocked by Sanemi's reply, since he never thought it would be a yes.

"A-are you sure?" Giyuu asks Sanemi.

Ughhh! Why is Tomioka making me say that again!? It's so embarrassing!

"Y-yes!" Sanemi assures Giyuu.

Giyuu extends his hand for a handshake.
"Let's make it official!"

Sanemi holds back his laughter for the fact that Giyuu was so childish.

"Sure."
Sanemi still couldn't stop laughing.

He shakes Giyuu's hand.

Giyuu saw how Sanemi was laughing at him but he didn't know why.

"Sorry for making you wait!"
The girl comes back with a large tray of dishes.
Behind her, were two other girls who were holding similar trays of food.

They place each dish on the table.

"Enjoy! We will come back to take those away."
The girls leave.

Sanemi couldn't stop himself since he was very hungry.
Sanemi takes a seat. Giyuu takes a seat next to him. Both the Hashiras were alone, with a lot of food in front of them.

"LET'S EAT!" Sanemi shouts out.
"Let's eat..." Giyuu says quietly.

Sanemi starts to dig in...
"Ohagi!" Sanemi's eyes start to shine with smile on his face similar to when the train to Kyoto arrived.

Giyuu looks at Sanemi who looked very happy when he saw Ohagi.

"Do you like Ohagi?"Giyuu asks Sanemi.

"I do. When I was a child, I used to love eating the Ohagi that my grandma used to make."

Giyuu looks at Sanemi as if he was focusing on his face.

"Here." Giyuu takes his Ohagi and gives it to Sanemi.

"You can have mine." Giyuu offers the Ohagi.

Giyuu's mind:
If I give him my Ohagi, our friendship will be stronger.

Sanemi looks at Giyuu with a reddish blush around his face and the tips of his ears.

What is he trying to be? A gentleman?
Stupid Tomioka! Tch....I don't like this feeling...

"It's fine! I don't want you to give me your Ohagi...have it yourself!"

Giyuu still keeps offering it to him.
Sanemi refuses.

After lunch, Giyuu offers Sanemi the one last Ohagi left.

"Here." Giyuu still offers.

"No."

Eventually, Giyuu had to eat it himself.

"We're Back!!!"
The girls come in, taking all the dishes away in a flash.

"Enjoy!!!"
The girls leave.

The door shuts.

Giyuu and Sanemi's eyes open wide, still staring at the door.

"I'm going to sleep, I'll have to stay active at night."
Sanemi falls on the bed and immediately falls asleep.

Giyuu stands up and stares at Sanemi who was occupying the whole bed, meant for the two of them.

"F-Fine! I-I'll be your friend!"
Sanemi's voice was echoing on Giyuu's mind.

Giyuu looks at Sanemi who was fast asleep.
He blushes lightly and smiles warmly.

I guess it won't hurt befriending Shinazugawa-San...

He slowly picks him up and carefully lays him on the bed in a straight position.

He then slowly reaches the other side of the bed and quietly lies beside Sanemi.
Both fall asleep.
