PART 48: CLONE DEMON

Swish!

Giyuu decapitated a few 'clones' and ran.

"Water Breathing, Tenth Form: Constant Flux!"

He ran towards the crowd of kids in a frightening speed and decapitated more than half of them in one single slash.

The kids fell down with a pool of blood.

"Great job, Tomioka-San!"
Mitsuri shouted and she too, whipped her sword at once and slid it through the necks of the little children.

There were just a few more kids left.

Sanemi ran and leapt up, he unleashed powerful circular slashes at a dashing speed, while in the air. An extremely strong amount of destructive wind was carried by the sword and all the kids dropped dead.

He landed on his feet.

"Sigh... What a pain in the ass!"
Sanemi said.

"We still haven't found the main body."
Giyuu told them.

"Well, there are no clones left so, does that mean we will have to search for the main body now?"
Asked Mitsuri.

"Yes."
Replied Giyuu.

The three walked.

It was very late already.
They had a feeling that it would be morning soon.

"Oi.... There's a demon! I can sense it, it could be that main body."
Sanemi said.

"I sense it too! But, I can't tell where it's coming from..."
Replied Mitsuri.

"I think it's coming from those bushes."
Said Giyuu, pointing at the bushes on the side of the road.

They could hear rustling from the bushes and felt a strong presence of a Demon.

"It is there."
Giyuu said and he swiftly ran towards the bush, without any sound.

He unleashed strong vertical slashes, ripping the bushes apart. But to his surprise, he didn't find anyone.

It's strange...

"Are you trying to find me?"

Giyuu turned back to find a young man standing right behind him.

So this is the main body.
Giyuu thought no more, he took a deep breath in.

"Water Breathing, First Form: Water Surface Slash!"

He unleashed slashes towards the Demon which he dodged.

"I thought you would be powerful, you've got just this?"
The Demon teased Giyuu, while dodging his attacks.

"Shut up, I've had enough of you."
Giyuu swung his sword in an intention to completely decapitate his head.

But he dodged it and ran.

"Kanroji, Shinazugawa-San! Go after him!"
Giyuu shouted.

"On it!!!"
Mitsuri followed the running demon.

Sanemi too, caught up with the demon's speed.

Sanemi and the demon, both were running at the same speed, while Mitsuri was left far behind.

"Fucking surrender already! Actually, FUCKING DIE!!!!"
Sanemi shouted.

"I won't die just because a stupid human told me too!"
The demon laughed.

Did he just call me fucking stupid!?

"You piece of shit! Just wait-"
Sanemi's rage could be easily seen from his face.

Thud!

The demon wasn't running anymore, it fell down. A pool of blood formed on the ground and its decapitated head fell near it.

Sanemi had swiftly cut through.

"That's what you get!"
Shouted Sanemi.

"Wait, no! I am not... I am defeated!? This is not good..."

The demon couldn't utter a single word after that. A tear drop formed under his eye before he closed them, forever.

Giyuu and Mitsuri reached them.

"YOU DID IT!? I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, YOU DID IT, SHINAZUGAWA-SAN!!!"
Mitsuri squealed.

"I know that!"
Sanemi said as he laughed proudly.

"I-I am glad you're s-safe!"
Giyuu said, blushing a soft shade of red.

"Huh?"
Sanemi blushed as he was dumbfounded.

Giyuu... I literally love you so much!
Sanemi shook his head to get rid of his thoughts and swiftly put his bloody sword right back in place.

Just as they had thought, the sun had come up and it was morning. Sunlight burned all the remains of the clones and the main body.

"So is our mission over now...?"
Asked Mitsuri.

"YES, YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE MISSION! NOW, HEAD BACK TO THE HEADQUARTERS, HEAD BACK TO THE HEADQUARTERS!"
Cawed Sanemi's Kasugai Crow.

"Phew! Finally, I was so tired. I'm glad it ended!"
Mitsuri said.

"That means, we can finally go back... I'm so glad."
Giyuu said in a relieved tone.

"So, shall we head back today?"
Asked Sanemi.

"Yes, Yes! I want to go back! I don't want to stay here anymore..."
Mitsuri squealed.

We should head back now! Then I will be able to tell everyone that Shinazugawa-San and Tomioka-San are... In love!!! The sooner we reach the better!
Mitsuri thought.

"But I'm tired, shouldn't we rest-"
Giyuu was interrupted by Mitsuri, who began,

"We can rest at the Butterfly Mansion once we reach, right? Let's hurry."
Mitsuri said.

Sanemi and Giyuu looked at each other and then looked at Mitsuri.

"Fine."
They both said together.

"Then, let's go!"
Mitsuri shouted.

"STOP SHOUTING, KANROJI! HOW DO YOU HAVE SO MUCH ENERGY AFTER FIGHTING!?"
Asked Sanemi.

"Technically you're shouting too, and this is the second time-"
Giyuu was interrupted by Sanemi, who spoke,

"You can shut up too, Giyuu."

"Sigh... Okay."
Giyuu said quietly and the three walked back.
