• Ray was in college studying to be a future aerospace engineer while also working by whatever Norman's company was about
• you had not the slightest idea how to tell him he was gonna be a dad
• you were only engaged and not married yet, making Ray your fiancé, and finding a wedding dress for a pregnant you... Well, Anna can style and find anything with her mind and a credit card
• and with all the pressure Ray was already under with college and all the studying...
• and don't forget he's also the vice CEO of a huge company, but Norman would understand if he needed some time off, especially in a situation like the one at hand
• you were worried that the baby would either distract him in a bad way or that he might unpurposefully not spend enough time with them.

• luckily, Ray was celebrating with everybody else due to Oliver's accomplishment of becoming a professional pilot
