Episode 22

JungKook quickly called Joo-ri to drive the car. He thought Yn needs him to calm her down and ease her pain, not much but he can help a little bit.

He quickly carried Yn to the car and Joo-ri started driving. He was trying his best to calm her down.

JungKook - Yn, listen to me. Breathe in and out slowly.

Yn was tring her best to do that but the pain was not helping at all.

Yn - Aa-hhh... JungKook t-this pain a-ah..I can't b-bear. I-I will die, i-if I don't get r-rid of this p-pain.

JungKook - We will reach soon baby. Don't cry. Calm down.

Yn - Aahhhh...This pain is g-getting worse.

JungKook - Just few more minutes baby, we are about to reach.

The whole ride was full of crying and JungKook was trying his best to comfort his wife who was suffering from the labour pain. He tried to comfort her by whispering soft words but it never helped Yn to calm down. It never helped to ease the pain.

They finally reached the hospital, JungKook immediately carried Yn, Joo-ri too helped him. He then rushed inside to the operation theatre. He had already called Dr. Jinyoung so he was already ready to operate her.

JungKook made her reach to the bed and was about to leave the room when Yn held his hand.

Yn - D-Don't leave.

She said while crying to which JungKook covered her hand with his and kissed her knuckles softly and spoke.

JungKook - I will have to leave, baby. I know you are strong and brave. You can fight the pain, right?

Lastly he whispered, "I am sorry, but I have to leave, I am not allowed here."

He then left the room that was filled with Yn's cry and loud painful sounds.

He stood out of the room waiting for the doctors to start their work.

He was feeling heaviness in his heart seeing his wife in such pain. Though he was habitual seeing women in such pain, but this was different for him. He can't help.

He dialed his parents' number on his mobile and told them what had happened. He didn't wanted their baby to miss his/her grandparents' presence while he/she will be welcomed to this world.

He could still hear his wife's painful yells in the corridor. Yn would be having a normal delivery because there was no conflict in her pregnancy since JungKook was the one who took her care.

Half hour passed, everyone was hoping for the best, for the well being of both the mother and the child. Their parents were praying and hoping for the best while JungKook was feeling her wife's pain. He was standing, roaming in the corridor in front of the room where the delivery was taking place, where her wife was, where his baby will take birth.

The whole time passed in a tensed surrounding. Lastly, a loud yell was heard in the corridor that came out of the room followed by a baby's crying voice.

Everyone's face was now plastered with a smile of relief. They all thanked god and waited for the doctor to come out. Soon the doctor came out while removing his mask.

Dr. Jinyoung - Both the baby and the mother are safe. The delivery was hopefully successful. Congratulations to you all.

Then he patted JungKook's back and left them before passing a smile that indicated that they could meet them.

Then JungKook went in the room followed by their parents. He sat on the chair near Yn's bed amd caressed her forehead.

JungKook - You did a great job. Congratulations for becoming our baby's mother.

Yn - Congratulations to you too for becoming a father.

She said in a faint voice that showed that she was tired of the pain that she had from the past one hour.

Mrs. Jeon - Congratulations to both of you.

Their parents congratulated each other and this moment was finally full of happiness and joy.

Then the nurse entered the room with a baby in her hand. She handed over the baby to the father, JungKook, and congratulated him.

Nurse - Congratulations Dr. Jeon. Mrs. Jeon gave birth to a girl.

Then the nurse left from there. Their parents took a glance at their grand-daughter and left from their to give them some space to talk comfortably.

Yn was lying on the bed so she tried to sit up. JungKook helped her to sit while offering his support to her.

Yn - She is so cute. Her eyes are similar to your doe eyes.

JungKook - And her lips are like you.

Yn - How tiny she is!

JungKook then leaned his hands towards Yn holding the baby, gesturing Yn to hold her daughter.

Yn - No Kook..What if I harm her?

JungKook - You will not.

He then helped her to hold her daughter carefully in her arms.

She held her daughter carefully and kissed her forehead.

JungKook smiled seeing Yn so happy. He wanted to capture this moment. He took out his mobile to capture this beautiful moment. He clicked some photos of Yn with baby and some selfies too.

Then he again got to his seat and admired Yn playing and smiling while looking at their daughter. Suddenly out of the blue, JungKook spoke.

JungKook - We will name her Seo-jun

Yn - Wow! That's a nice name.

Then she faced her baby and spoke.

Yn - Seojun? You liked the name right?

To the response, their daughter moved her hands and legs.

Yn - She really liked the name.

JungKook smiled at this. He then called their parents to spend some time with their new born grandchild.

He left the room to order healthy food for themselves. After sometime, their parents left.

It was almost night and the food was already in their room. Their daughter is sleeping in the baby crib near Yn's bed.

JungKook opened the food packets and placed them on the table beside the bed. He feeded Yn with his own hands.

Time skip

When they were done eating. It was the time for the mother to feed the baby. Since it was the very first time for Yn, she was guided the way to feed the baby properly. Though it's weird but JungKook helped Yn to feed their daughter.

He is too a doctor and he knows what steps has to be taken to take care of the baby. So it is very normal for him to help Yn.

Then he asked the doctor if she can be discharged the next day. The answer was affirmative.

Time skip to morning.

They had their breakfast and now they are ready to head to their home after a checkup of both the mother and the baby.
