S-2 : Episode 16

Evening time-

Doctor - Sorry Mr. Jeon, your wife is in coma.

JungKook - C-Coma? No, this can't true.

As Doctor said that JungKook broke into tears. That was already enough for him to handle and now this report beoke him. He controlled himself from crying, just for Seojun, he didn't want to let her see his this side. He wanted to act strong but that was not easy for a husband whose wife is fighting between death and life.

Before JungKook could wipe his tears, Seojun hugged him.

Seojun - Dad.. don't cry, mom will be alright. I know her, she can't see us crying. She will fight for her life.

JungKook cupped her cheeks with his hand, sniffling.

JungKook - Yes, and we are with her. My strong daughter!

He hugged her, they both met her, talked to her knowing that she will not reply but still, it was their own satisfaction.

Two weeks later

Seojun had been going to school, her dad forced her, her studies were important too.

Daily, they both used to go to hospital to spend some time with her. JungKook spent most of his time in hospital, working and staying with her wife, sometimes overnight too.

In these two weeks, Seojun and JungKook got closer to each other. Seojun started opening up to him and telling him about her day and the experiences that she is getting during the last year of her school.

In these days, JungKook became the father and the mother too for Seojun, he cared for her like his wife, Yn did. Yn couldn't complain that JungKook wasn't a good father, rather he was the best father for Seojun, maybe she didn't realise being an immature child.

Today, JungKook directly picked her from her school, they planned to meet Yn early, the next day was a holiday so they could spend time with her more.

They both reached the hospital with some flowers, peony, Yn's favourite flowers. They entered her room with heavy hearts. It isn't easy to tolerate seeing your beloved lying unconsciously, just taking breaths that are not even guaranteed for longtime.

They sat beside her, Seojun held her mother's hand.

Seojun - Mom, you know, I got full marks in today's test, won't you give me a treat? Also, I will pass my school very soon, just few months months and my exams will be close. I know your blessings are always with me but still I want to hear "all the best" from your mouth.

Unknowingly, this time her eyes were filled with tears, JungKook didn't speak, just watched her with pity, how could god do this to a daughter of such young age?

While speaking, Seojun started crying, she didn't cry in these two weeks maybe now it was crossing her limit to bear some pain.

As JungKook heard her cracked voice he immediately went close to her and hugged her tightly.

JungKook - Seojun, no, don't cry, not in front of her..shh..calm down.

Seojun - No dad, now I can't stop. I have already controlled a lot, now I can't. T-Tell her that now I can't wait to hear her voice. Ask her to w-wake up, ask her to t-talk to me. Please dad, please...

She was continuously crying, it was getting hard for JungKook to control too, it was hard for him to see his daughter crying where he couldn't help.

Suddenly he felt something moving on the bed, he saw Yn's fingers moving a little.

JungKook - Y-Yn..wait I'll call the doctor.

Then he rushed to call the doctor, the doctor quickly came and checked her.
After checking, he turned around with a happy face and said

Doctor - Congratulations! She has gained her consciousness.

JungKook - Can we talk to her?

Doctor - After sometime, she is still not that well to talk, let her rest.

After sometime, when Yn was a bit ready to talk, they both went in the room and sat beside her.

Seojun - Mom, I missed you. I-I don't know what to say but I really missed you.

Yn - I missed you too dear. Now I am with you, don't cry, wipe your tears, you are my good girl, right?

She nodded and wiped her tears. Then she looked at her dad, him smiling slightly, watching Yn talking to her daughter.

Seojun - Mom, I will go out for sometime, I have some work.

She said and quickly ran out of the room, not giving them any chance to stop her.

Yn - *chuckled* she is so cute, knows how to make an excuse.

She shook her head at her own daughter's stupidness, then she looked at JungKook.

Yn - JungKook?

As she called him, he looked away, showing that he is sad and angry.

Yn - JungKook.. won't you talk to me?

JungKook - I hate you.

Yn - I love you too. I am sorry, look here please.

He couldn't resist, he looked at her with teary eyes.

He hugged her tightly, as if she will leave him when he gets away.

JungKook - You are really very selfish. How many times we asked you to wake but you didn't listen. You are more stubborn than your daughter.

Yn - I am sorry, you can scold me as much as you want, I am really sorry.

JungKook - You don't know how I spent these two weeks without you. I missed you, I missed you so much. Never ever try to go away from me.

Yn - Ohh my cry baby, I promise I will never go away from you, now stop crying.

JungKook wiped his tears with his both hands, looking like a baby.

Seojun - Mom dad? If you both are done then may I come in?

Yn - *gasp* you little JungKook! You were watching us from so long?

Seojun giggled and came in. She sat beside her.

Seojun - Yes my dear JungKook's lovely wife.

JungKook - She is really very naughty.

He chuckled while shaking his head.

Seojun - Dad, now mom can go home, right?

JungKook - I will talk to doctor and go clear all the fees. Till then, you pack the stuffs and be with her, okay?

Seojun - Yes dad.

After he went, Seojun talked to her a lot while packing the stuffs. They both talked like two friends talk when they meet after a long time.

The reason is that my sister has went to my grandmother's house and now there is no one to annoy me so I am a bit happy and I swear that I will never miss her, rather I am happy that she is not around me!
