Naz was upset. Her parents fought again. This time it wasn't just an argument, they fought hard. It had verbal abuse with lots of screaming. She hated it when this happens.
She did what she does every time. Locked herself in her room to avoid them but also listens to every word in case something happens other than just verbal abuse.
The first time she heard them fighting, she was eight years old. She hid in her room and barged outside whenever things got out of hands. At first, looking at their daughter made them regret their actions but with time moving forward, it didn't matter to them anymore.
She talked to maleeha about it first. Her best friend also said that it's common in every family. Everyone fights and no relationship is perfect.
But she wanted to be. She looked up to her parents but whenever she saw them fight, her hopes come crashing down. But with time, gulnaz was unbothered. She understood relationships are not rainbows and sunshine like in the fiction.
Leaning her head against the door, she left a sigh.
And then she heard a ping of her notification. She checked and it was from an unknown number.
Do you think zombies eat brains because they're hungry for knowledge?
10:15 pmShe narrowed her eyes. What type of question is this? And who would send it to her?
Who's this?"
10:17 pmThey replied immediately.
Guess who
10:18 pmShe had her suspicion. Because she gave her number yesterday to shoaib. It could be him.
Shoaib?
10:18 pmCorrect answer!
10:19Gulnaz had a smile forming on her face involuntarily. She felt joy running through her body and she felt calm.
🙄
And to answer your question.
No I don't know why zombies eat brains. I don't have a zombie friend .

10:22pmGulnaz rolled her eyes. Why he's asking her all this?
