After the whole monster attack, everybody was a bit shaken, but we were used to it so we just shrugged it off. Everybody had food and then they all went to play. Jason tried to get me to come but I was way too sleepy to play so I passed the opportunity and just went on with sleeping.
After 3 hours, I woke up in my room, feeling a little lonely meaning that Jason was needed. I went out to see where he was. It was about sunset. I saw him standing at the door with Will, Nico, waving. I went to them and saw that the guests were going. I also noticed that the ruins of the battles were removed and the place was back with its previous glamour.
I waved to them too, right before they touched the portkey and travelled to their home sweet home. I turned to Jason and the rest and said, "I am really sorry I slept through the whole thing, I was way too sleepy and the fight took a huge toll on me." Jason gave me a side hug, "It was not your fault, Pipes. It took a lot of my energy too."
"Hope you got some more left." Nico said troublingly, "Dad is coming here with his people. Also, Charon will no longer be here. There were some things he had to do in the Underworld." Well, nobody was sad about it. Charon was a cool guy but he just was much of a buzz kill. Though, I doubt that Hades will let Nico stay without a guard. Who will he post now that is even more powerful than Charon?
We all went to the throne room. The council was already there. Persephone and Hades sitting straight in the front. Another throne on Persephone's side has Hecate. 3 ladies are standing on Hades' side. Not sitting on the throne, but they seemed important people. They all had whips in their hands. Their hair was made of snake, like Medusa but different. Draped all in black, they had wings on their back. I couldn't help but think if these were the 3 fates.
"Nico! Splendid! You are here!" Hades said.
Nico bowed to his parents and ignored Hecate cause technically she was inferior to him now. I wish I got to be a god. But I want to do it only if Jason becomes one too. See, the thing is, we demigods don't live long and I want to live that short time to the fullest. For me, Jason is my everything. Even if asks me to marry him, have kids, I will do it, because I want to have it with him myself. OKAY! Topic changed, moving back to the throne room.
"Now, nobody will disturb me until I am done." Hades said, "We have proof that Alcyneous is joining hands with Wizarding monsters. I do not doubt the might of two great gods but you will be surrounded by mortals and showing off too much of your power will give away your secret. Hecate, shall any disturbance be created by your world again, I will make sure that it is destroyed to the core."
"My world has been the most powerful of all time and yet, you treat them as pests. I am doing everything in my power to stop the dark powers but we can not fight just anybody. We have ancient rules bounding us and-" Hecate was stopped by Persephone
"Hecate, dear. I hope it was made quite clear that no disturbances are to be made." I couldn't believe it. Hecate and Persephone, the power friends of the underworld, were looking as if they could eat each other. Hecate kept her silence but the anger and disbelief was shown perfectly well by her face.
"Thank you Persephone. As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted. Magical beasts are joining him. And I am told that you already had an encounter with one of them at the wizard's place." I was confused but stayed shut. Will and Nico nodded. "Hence, from now on Charon will resume his duty in the underworld of making sure nobody everybody reaches my door safely. Instead now I place somebody even more powerful in your defense. I understand that you don't want to be guarded but it is not for the wrong reason."
"Nico, I hope you already felt the effect that the 4 material horcruxes have been destroyed." Nico once more nodded. "Good. Now, your army will go to Hogwarts before you reach there. However, now its time to introduce your new guards. Alecto, Tisiphone and Megaera or better known as the furies." He gestured towards the three ladies.
I remembered the tale, Alecto, Anger. Tisiphone, Avenger and Megaera, Jealous. They came to earth to pursue the wicked. I remember Percy telling us something about them burning a bus while fighting these 3 and another time kidnapping him with the help of Nico. People are scared of even saying their name, that is why we demigods call them the 'Kindly Ones'. Seeing them meant that you were about to have the worst fate of all time. They tortured the evils in the underworld. Like the fates decide your life, these three decide your afterlife.
Sending them to a mortal school was a bit too much, but well gods lived for a bit too much.
"They will be with you at all times. Protecting you and those around you. I think that covers everything. Nico, sorry if this troubles you but I have to do so. I must leave. Persephone, I will be waiting for you." Hades and Hecate vanished. Persephone stood up and came to us, "You three, to your duties. Now!" The furies scurried away. "Nico, Will, I am sorry for this. I was not in favor of appointing Charon but after what happened today, it made me doubt my choice. I have to go but you guys have fun."
She too vanished. We were left there.
"Better get going." Will said. We all decided to watch a movie so we moved out of the throne room where we found the furies standing. They, unlike Charon, kept their distance from us but they were close enough to hear us or come to our aid. We sat in the TV room. Will turned it on and started Annabelle Returns. We draped ourselves with a blanket. Nobody was in the mood for food.
20 minutes through the movie, Nico stopped it and went to the kitchen. He returned with popcorn and coke. He went to sit back on the other couch with Will after giving us a tub of popcorn.
The movie was quite good. I turned on the lights and saw that the boys were all asleep. Well, they were all tired. Me, being already rested, I decided to take a stroll in the park. I noticed that a fury was following me.
The light was out and the skeletons were burning lamps to keep the area alight. I walked around, here and there, taking in the beauty of the place. The fury had lost its way to me and was now standing at the entrance of the building. I saw an empty bench and sat there. Suddenly, my vision went all black, I was standing in front of an all too familiar giant, Alcyneous.
