Ostara is a (traditionally) Germanic Pagan Sabbat to celebrate the Spring Equinox and the Goddess Eostre, however it can be a part of any practice, as the Spring Equinox is a very important event that highlights rebirth, renewal, and growth. It can also be attributed to any God or Goddess that rules over those topics. This is observed on March 20th this year, but can also be observed anywhere from March 19th-23rd.

An altar for Ostara consists of several
symbols, crystals, objects, and colors. I will list what I used below:

Crystals:
- Clear quartz
- Amethyst
- Moss agate
- Carnelian
- Fuchsite
- Bumblebee jasper
- Lapis lazuli
- Green aventurine
- Bloodstone
- Serpentine
- Rose quartz
- Lepidolite

Symbols:
- Pentacle
- Rabbits
- Butterflies
- Chicks
- Lambs
For the animals, stuffed animals, statues, or cutouts are great to use!!

Objects:
- Nests (make your own, do not touch nests out in nature!!)
- Pink candles
- Yellow candles
- Light blue candles
- Light purple candles
- Painted eggs
- Flowers
- Clovers (especially four-leafed)
- Baskets
- Seeds

Colors:
- Light blue
- Light purple
- Pink
- Yellow
- Gold
- Light green
- Anything pastel

I think my altar turned out very nice,
and I like the energy that it gives. Everyone's altar should be personal
to them and not a rip-off of someone
else's, so while it's perfectly normal to
take inspiration and learn about what
to do, don't be afraid to put your own
spin on it!

Other things you can do to celebrate are:
- Feasts
- Time with nature
- Having fresh flowers in your space
- Positive affirmations
- Celebrating growth/new beginnings
- Decorating eggs
- Cleaning
- Planting seeds
- Goal setting rituals and/or spellwork
